Best KPortal Reviews

It's a small cafe not in the best side of town, not fancy but very clean and I felt really comfortable eating lunch alone there today. I ordered the chile relleno and a tostada with chile verde. The chile relleno was wonderful and came with sauce on the side to spoon on top. Loved the chile relleno. Their chips and salsa were good too. The tostada was delicious and the price was right only $6, But next I'll try one of the other meats on top of it. The chile verde was a little tough but it was tasty.
This is an old-school dinner in old town Bakersfield. The food is amazing! Service is excellent. Highly recommend this place.
Best chilaquiles hands down! would recommend!!! only thing is beans and rice weren’t all that, but the chilaquiles and menudo make up for it ???? service was great! super fast.
I don’t really give reviews ever, but I definitely have to warn others and their families! The food tastes off it’s just not right & and the service is horrible. We let the waitress know about the food being off and she wanted to go back & forth. When i asked to speak to the owner or manager ***MENUDO NOT good*** it taste like its alive & has a nasty smell to it. I used about 20 limes & salt still couldn't take the smell away and taste.
Don’t let the area that this cafe is located in fool you. It’s worth coming to. The food is amazing, staff is friendly and accommodating. There usually is a wait time, but if you don’t mind sitting at bar, you can be sat quicker. The food comes out hot, delicious and it is definitely authentic style of Mexican food.
I love going to this place. It’s a hidden gem. The food is always delicious and the service is usually fast. This last time I went I ordered chilaquiles with beans and rice. And I’ve been wanting to go back since!
On my opinion they serve the best Menudo in town. Ask for extra hominy and they won’t disappoint. Staff is friendly always service with a smile. You may catch a well known singer enjoying a meal from time to time. You’ll find his photos on the wall as proof. Music usually playing but not loud enough you can’t carry a conversation. Area is sketchy but don’t feel unsure I’ve never had any trouble in this area. If you’ve never been make sure to write your name down for a booth or table as you enter and wait to be seated. You won’t wait too long.
We have been going there since the mid eights. We know that this is good that you would be served at a family residence. It is awesome. And yeah... Bones happen in real life cooking. The food is not pr packaged. It's the real thing. Maybe some of those thin-skinned people that like La Mina or El Torito should stick to their plastic coated American Mexican places. Arizona Cafe is absolutely wonderful. Just remember, same family owned business and recipes that never change and same family for many decades. Wonderful awesome food.
