Had the veggie burger w/ Swiss. Comes with soup of the day (broccoli & cheese) & a side (had potato salad). The soup was so delicious. Potato salad was freshly made with crunchy red onion & green bell peppers. Veggie burger was decent, and the toppings were fresh. Service was very attentive. All in, I paid $15+tip. A little too pricy for me, but still way better than fast food, which costs more these days.
We came in for breakfast on a Saturday morning and ordered the omelet with country biscuit and gravy and the pancakes. Everything was delicious, service was excellent and food was very reasonably priced. Would definitely come back.
I'll start with the good, the server was good, food tasted good. My seat is broken and is about to dunk me into the walkway and the slice of cheese on top of the omelet...real classy. I guess shredded cheese is the top tier option..????????
I have come here many times and I am consistently impressed by the quality of the food and service. The servers are friendly and the food is always hot and fresh. They have specials that change consistently and they offer desserts as well. My personal favorite has to be the country benedict with their homemade sausage gravy! Definitely worth your time to visit!
Overall a great place, and pretty unique for the area, there are not many mom and pop style restaurants around anymore but this is one of them! I ordered a Belgium waffle and it was really good, only problem was the steep price. For a singular waffle with nothing else but a water it was ten dollars before tip. The pancakes are more reasonably priced though at roughly 6 for two of them. And the pancakes are massive, like the size of a normal plate. The server was nice and the place felt cozy so I appreciate what I got.
Local Diner for the win! The menu was simple and the service experience was great! Jessica Provided an amazing experience and the food came out quickly. I would highly recommend this place again and look forward to trying lunch the next time around!
I got the Eggs Benedict and it was delicious. The eggs were cooked to perfection and the hollandaise sauce was so rich and creamy. My waitress Aimee was so nice and took great care of me. And her husband Christian was the one in the kitchen cooking. I love finding small family owned businesses like this. I would highly recommend stopping here for breakfast. I had a great experience!
I always loved eating there.
