Got Rainbow roll…roll was okay, disappointed they either forgot the avocado or didn’t have any in stock…not sure but no one said anything about it when I picked it up. Chicken fried rice was a ton of food, flavor wasn’t bad but wasn’t great and was hard to find the chicken ????♂️. I stay at the Captain Cook hotel often and have never tried this place because of the mediocre Google reviews. Decided to try it tonight—$35 later—unfortunately I must report that the Google rating is accurate. For the price, I’m walking a little further next trip. This could be a money-making place with all the Asian tourists but they have to step up their game. Will revisit in 6 months.
First off, the service was incredible! There weren't many people there at 5pm and the waiter still was faster than necessary, didn't hover, which was great, yet didn't let my water go empty either. The sushi? Oh man!!! Phenomenal! Had Beef Yakisoba also and it was just as good as the shops in Hennoko, Okinawa. Jalapeno crab stuffed poppers were ridiculous. I mean just crazy delicious. Never had anything like it and now I'm addicted! Go. Go and enjoy!
Beef teriyaki box and gyoza was $35, good flavor but definitely not enough food for that price. Definitely worth a try but don't expect to be full upon leaving.
Wasn't greeted upon walking in, the lights were off, it was literally freezing in there. It's warmer outside and its only 32 degrees. I ordered the dumpling soup. The broth was good, it was very hot temperature wise, had a good mix of veggies, but there were only TWO dumplings!! so is it dumpling soup? or vegetable soup with dumplings? I also ordered the Volcano roll. NOT impressed it was drowned in spicy mayo and was pretty bland. This was $32.. that's pretty pricey to still be hungry. I'm pretty upset

I ordered the Salmon Poki. The flavor of the salmon was very tasty. However, I was hoping for a better quality meal and a reasonable portion. A little underwhelming of a presentation, given the price of $23.95. Thankfully, the salmon was very fresh and served with sliced cucumbers and chopped lettuce. The restaurant is cute and cozy on the inside and I did not wait long for my meal. I was the only person in the restaurant. Overall, the meal was average.
Man, just found this place. Cute and fun and just a nice place to go to. I definitely will be back. I stpeed out of my box and got the Reindeer Bibimbab. Just full of veggies and meat and so delicious. My friend got the Tempura shrimp and the Calamari tempura. He said it wad all very yummy. Come check out and support this local business.
Not sure how this place is still in business, more expensive than nearby sushi restaurants, apparently they dont like to turn on the lights in here, and what i could see from the cooking area it looked like a wild health hazard mess. Place made me want to wash my hands. Ended up drinking one beer before walling out to eat somewhere else. Staff seemed nice though
