First time back to Arctic Circle in 25 years. This place is an institution! Oddly local. Mildly slow. But you know what you’re getting before you ever walk in. Lime Ricky was delicious. The courtesy cone (pictured) drove this review to a solid 4. I didn’t try the advertised breaded mushrooms because… nah bruh.
My family and I got ice cream here, and it tasted sour, so we spoke with the manager. She said they were having problems with that machine and after tasting it herself she said it wasn't "that bad", that it only had a "little tang to it" and that it might be starting to turn. The manager wouldn't give me a refund and didn't replace any of the ice cream. While I was there, I saw then served several other people this ice cream. I would recommend this place to anyone unless you want some food poisoning.
The Food is normally great. However the service is normally poor. Almost everytime I come into the lobby it takes them a few minutes to acknowledge me. I typically come between 2-4pm and I'm usually the only one in lobby and sometimes there might be 1 car in the drive thru. The store has potential to be busier.
I got a mushroom and Swiss and all of the mushrooms where outside of the sandwich and soaked the buns. The patty was ice cold and chewy for reasons I don't know. On top of that it is way over price and took 45min to get our food with one person in front of us.
The food was cold, felt like they left it in the fridge for a hour and then gave it too me, took a good 40 minutes to get me a burger and some fries with only 2 other customers. And worst of all I watched somone drop ice cream on the floor pick it up and send it right back out to be eaten by some unknowing kid. Also they had the one person running the front that could not say a single word I could understand. Do not eat here????
Artic circle is my 1st favorite place for shakes. The quality is great and presentation is lovely. There's always plenty of flavor inside and I love that they sprinkle extra toppings on the top. You can get unlimited flavors for no extra cost which makes me so happy. They have all their repeat coupons on line, so I never have to worry about leaving coupons at home. Service here was kind and competent.
The fried shrimp meal consisted of five shrimp and fries. The price was very reasonable and the meal was a good, typical fried treat. I ordered a small vanilla milkshake with caramel and chocolate. I only about drank half because something tasted fake. Overall, the price is cheap and the service is fairly quick -then again, I only had shrimp and fries when they specialize in burgers....
I don’t leave bad reviews often…There are some very nice people who work here. The manager, Ashley Gomez is unpleasant and disrespectful.
