Archie's was very helpful with getting my car fixed and speedy too! It only took a few hours for them to fix a suspension part. They even gave me a ride back home while it was getting worked on so I didn't have to walk or arrange a ride, which is above and beyond service in my book. I would highly recommend this shop.

I was too far from home to have my car towed to my mechanic so Archies was recommended to me by a friend. Archie took good care of me. He was honest and kept me updated when things changed. I so appreciate him and I will recommend to anyone in the area!
Took it in to have diagnostics run on the transmission. Told me I needed a rebuild for $1,800 without touching the vehicle. Left it with them to run the diagnostics. Called from work and was told they didn't run the diagnostics but did check the fluid. Fluid was full and clean. Still said it was the soft seals and needed an $1,800 rebuild.
I got a second opinion from another garage just now. Fluid very very low. Got a leak. Transmission is good. I don't need a rebuild.
I don't know if it's because I'm a woman they tried to cheat me or if they do all their customers that way regardless of gender. I researched my symptoms online before I ever called Archie's. I generally have diagnosed my problem, watched videos online how to fix it and priced the parts before I ever take my car to a garage. And I buy a Haynes manual for every car I own.
