Two years ago I was new to this area and boy am I glad that I gave Aras a chance. I take All my cars here. He's a really good mechanic and he takes his time to make you feel like you are in good hands. Also, all he's prices are pretty good and affortable. You won't regret taking your car here!
Had car trouble while traveling for work. Called at least 10 shops and Aras was the only one who could make time to look at the vehicle same-day. Got a visual check for mechanical issues and everything was shown/explained to us while the computer was running diagnostics. The vehicle was safe to drive, so we ended up finishing our work and getting repairs done closer to home, but we were incredibly grateful for the honesty and the immediate, personalized service we received at Aras. If I lived closer, I would come back with my personal vehicle for regular service, and my coworker said the same. Thanks again!
Stay away!!! Bought a battery from this place for my Mercedes GL450. The owner (I think it was the owner, not 100% sure) installed the battery which cost $350 and charged $150 for labor (which is a lot for a battery but Mercedes puts their battery is weird places and makes replacing a bit difficult). I paid him $500 cash. I’m a Soldier about to go to Germany in a couple months and will be taking my truck so I had the dealership examine it. One of the things that came up was the battery, the dealership recommended replacing it. I called this shop back and the owner stated he could get another battery free because it should be under warranty but would charge for labor again. Definitely would not recommend this place to anyone.
I was driving from NYC to Syracuse when my oil pressure went sky high. I called around to find a mechanic and luckily Aras answered. He is a very honest guy that did a great job. He worked over the weekend and was able to fix the car in two days (only delayed waiting on parts) and charged a fair price. He went above and beyond and even made minor updates for things he noticed like an old hose that had dry rotted and needed replacing, at no charge. Highly recommend.
The owner was so helpful with the steps I needed to take to get my car repaired after a crash. So professional and friendly!
Aras is very honest and kind he always fixes my car because he is my local mechanic and very fair showing grit and thoughtfulness with cars!
Run for the hills as fast as you can, do not look back and zip all your money into all the secret compartments you can find. “I’m a business man” when I heard this I should have taken heed and listened to my conscious unfortunately; I was in a jam as my real mechanic was on vacation. Aras stated he changed my caliper, when I had heard noises from the front end of my car and some $600 later. Recently I got some new tires and an alignment from a real tire shop and asked the mechanic to check the noises in the front end, the mechanic stated the same wheel was extremely tight and there was an issue with the same caliper. So I take it back to Aras and he is argumentative and adamant that the caliper was fine and that he was going to charge me an additional $100 just to check his own work. How would you feel? This is a “businessman” who makes real mechanics look bad, hence my review. I take it back to my regular trusted mechanic and he states the the caliper is still froze, original and never changed. Aras charged me for work he did not even do! He clearly is a liar and a cheat; he will have his day with god.
We got off an exit in NJ because our car was in trouble...We called Aras Auto and he left his shop to come and meet us a few miles away...thank you so much for helping our family! We were stuck and you came to help. Genuinely nice person...I would definitely recommend bringing your car here!
