The bouncer Giovanni was been such a rude person just because I asked for a song. I just wanted asked the DJ for a song he told me I was not allowed to come up the steps just to asked for a song and he was quick to call the manager. I’ve been here many times and I spent a lot of money just to be here. I think it is very rude that they try and call the manager after I’ve spent so much money and I just asked for a song song
Went there for New Year's. Club has potential. First floor which plays old school music is pretty spacious. Though the bartenders were nice, they are not very good at making drinks. They are very watered down and the long island I had tasted like nothing but sweet and sour mix and it made my stomach hurt. The best thing were the jello shots. They had more alcohol in them than the actual drinks and for only $3, they were the better deal. Bathrooms need updating. Seems like they are satisfied with the money that they are making and they don't intend on doing better which is a common practice in NC. It would probably take people not coming anymore for them to make the necessary changes to make the club better.
I wouldn’t describe this place as upscale. But it is a fun club and the DJ did well. It’s safe and the staff is friendly. The club itself is clean I don’t know about the restrooms or drinks because I didn’t drink anything so I didn’t need to use the restroom. The DJ is good enough that you don’t need to be drunk to have fun. But no need to pull out a dress and heels, you can just save that for a night out in Charlotte or Raleigh. This is not upscale and the only seating is in VIP. I can’t give it 5 stars because the advertising is misleading. They let you in if you are wearing jeans and tennis shoes and that’s precisely what I will be wearing when I go back.
Hookah was horrible. I was charged 4 times for it, and it tasted like straight coal. The server came and told me my card declined, I bet she expected me to just pull out cash, but I showed her my fraud alert from my bank saying they tried to charge me multiple times. Later on, my girl friend paid for a beer and a shot. The bigger girl upstairs wearing a black corset NEVER gave her change back, my friend gave her $25 and the drinks were only $9.50! She also did this earlier the same night to someone else in my party. My friend got a $3 special, paid with a $20 and never got her change! Both times they brought it up with her and never got their damn change! This is no accident.... this is a pattern. Scammers! Also, the music at atmosphere sucks. Feels like a sweet 16.
Saturday night, had my dress code up to par, which wasn't even posted on their website. My friends and I went to the club waited in line until they opened two hours after they were supposed to, and we're still prepared to pay the extra charge they added for after midnight admission (probably why they postponed opening) all to get declined because I am only 20. That even after calling to get confirmation of 18 or older admission was a huge killer in the night. Would have been nice if their website had included any information about the absurd upcharge and other discrepancies.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I've been going to this club every weekend almost since it reopened. Last night I was turned away at the door. In fact, I was not just turned away but discriminated against. I was wearing nice pants, shoes, and a long tight fitting fashionable black shirt. The bouncer told me that I had to wear a collared shirt. When I pointed out that there were women all around me that had no collared shirt, I was told that it was because they're wearing a dress. So being that I dress masculine and do not wear dresses, it's okay for this club to discriminate. If you look on the clubs website, it's mention of women says only that they can not wear tennis shoes or sneaks. I wasn't wearing either! I've always been allowed entrance and have always been appropriately dressed. When I asked the bouncer if he was serious, he said yes. I replied "so you're discriminating right now?" He said "Yes I am." Now I know why you have 3.5 stars. You must do better. I will never spend another dime at this place.
It has a nice look but a strict dress code. Good music but drinks are a little pricy. You definitely want to bring a crowd because people weren't really on the dance floor when I visited.
If I could rate this club zero stars I would. The most SEXIST club I have ever been to!! I was not allowed to enter the club because I had on tennis shoes!!! Every male can have on tennis shoes but women have to wear as the bouncer
called it “heels or stilettos.” I have never been more embarrassed or insulted in my life! If your going to have a dress code, it should be equal and fair!! High heels should be a choice not a requirement!
