The food is consistently good, but service is consistently SLOW as of the last six months. I'm not in a hurry, but at least come to the table within the first 10 minutes of us being seated. Our actual waitress only visited our table to take our order. Other staff actually tended to us the remainder of the time. Get it together!
Visited here this morning with my family. The waitress didn't look like she had very good hygiene and she gave us terrible terrible service. She never once refilled our drinks and my husband had to go to the bar to ask for ketchup and a refill, where she was sitting talking to the bartender and didn't seem to care that my husband had to get up and get things for himself. Also, she never asked how we wanted our burgers cooked so she served us both pink burgers... even though I am obviously super pregnant and can not eat that. She never came to check on us until we were super obviously wanting our check (and dying of thirst).
If I could give zero stars I would. When we arrived the restaurant was not even half full ...We waited 25 min just to get drinks! We let the mgr know that we had not seen our waiter since ordering drinks which was 25 min ago. He said he would take care of it but never did. He should at least have offered to get us waters! We had to flag down another server who helped us and took our order.The bartender brought us our drinks which were both wrong. Our waiter finally appeared.30 min later asking if we were ready to order!! We ordered spinach dip and was told they didn't have any salsa as they were prepping it. She asked if we wanted green salsa instead we said yes but we never got it! It has now been 45 min and we still do not have our food! We will def not be back. We asked for extra chips which we never received. I have been a server for years and this is totally unacceptable!! Let me just add our silverware was wrapped in a brown napkin with Scotch tape around it!! The napkin was useless as it was in shreds by the time we attempted to get the silverware out!
Food was good, but didn't really have any service. The guy didn't refill our drinks without being asked to, he didn't ask how our food was, he didn't clear any dishes except the appetizer plate (which we weren't done with) until after we left the table. I used to work at an Applebee's and was very disappointed. I only left a tip because I don't know his life and maybe it was just a bad day. Not a great service experience.
9:45 on a Saturday night and almost nobody there should have been a sign. Asked about a frozen drink (which Applebee's apparently no longer serves) and was brought a version with ice, without the server asking first. Ordered after receiving our glasses of water. Salads came out (which is apparently just lettuce and croutons now) and our waters were empty, we weren't refilled. Then we were notified after waiting for our meals, that one entree had been unavailable for several hours. We ordered something else. Still no WATER refills. Dinner finally came, and I asked for water. One entree was nearly cold and the chicken was hard as a rock and I was expected to cut it with my butter knife. Half way through the meal she asked if we needed anything, acting as if we never asked for water. We had finished dinner by the time she was rushing us out the door by returning with water in to go cups and asking us if we wanted the bill. Will never return to that location.
Labor Day weekend- Sat nite- I am a frequent and long time customer at the above location and most of the time the service and food there is satisfactory.
I took a neighbor tonight and ordered a Chop Salid and BLT. The place was not crowded. It took forever to get the food.
The BLT was the WORST BLT I have ever tried to eat. The bacon was old, cooked much earlier and
like eating shoe leather. The whatever it was on the sandwich had a stench to it. Needless to say I
left most of it. The Chop Salad ( one of my favorites ) had NO DRESSING and was dry as a bone. Had been there an hour. When the server finally stopped by the table I told her the food was NOT EATIBLE AND SHE SAID " i'll tell the manager. I paid the $ 24.00 plus $ 4.00 tip and left to go up the street and eat at Mc Donalds Drive Thru.
The food is piss poor for the money and probably fixed somewhere else, frozen and microwaved. Just plain garbage. Ruined the evening .. Last trip to Applebees.
I might add. It's difficult for older people to read the menu prices and description.
Waited too long for drinks and food for there to only be 4 tables in the whole restaurant. Bartender did his best but was doing everything. This is now the third time this has happened. If I could give Zero stars I would.
Terrible service. Dirty restaurant. Had to send our waters back because both had trash floating in them. Brought out our appetizer and there was hair in it. And the meal was not good at all. Won't be going back.
