Went into Applebee's for their late night happy hour, and Amber was our server. She was attentive and kind. Our food was flavorful and hot. I would recommend West St. Paul's Applebee's anytime.
Husband and I went out for dinner. I ordered a 8oz steak Medium Rare. The steak arrives and it's very Well Done. I let our server know and another steak comes out. The person who brought it out said 6oz steak. The issue aside from it being 2oz smaller was this new steak was Rare and cold on the inside. Attached is a photo of the replacement steak. Our server had not come back to check on us after that. So we just ended up paying and leaving. Manager called to resolve the issue but issue ended up unresolved.
I love that they have all you can eat boneless wings now. I love their happy hour and delicious strong cocktails.
So the food was superb, but they brought food out and asked my friend if she wanted different wings instead, like the ones they had the audicity to say they were just made they were cold as hell. Then when we got new food I believe since of the hassle we should have got a discount for literally having to wait for my friends' food and we are all finished. Then, when it came down to pay, they tried to charge us full price for the half off apps.
Amiris was amazing. I loved him, he felt sincere, gave everything that was needed. I didn’t even need to have a conversation with him to know that he is a great server. He was amazing and deserves management or a raise. Simple things to improve a great service he did and way beyond that. I rate this restaurant a 5 star rating just because of him!
We ate here on a Wednesday afternoon. The service was quick and friendly. The menu has a wide variety of items and a full bar menu. The Riblets platter had tender ribs but they didn’t have much flavor. The fries were quite good and the coleslaw was very dry. I would not order this again. My dining companions really enjoyed their pasta and burger so we would go there again when in town.
Applebee's is easy to forget, a weird place that one can overlook for other restaurants/bars. That said, it can be a fun place for a get-together; the staff are always polite and kind, the food acceptable, and the prices reasonable. We had a great time for my best friend's graduation celebration!
They overcooked my steak, but their staff was very nice and replaced it. The cut of meat is just ok, I would not order steak here in the future because verything else they offered tasted better.
