Bravo Zulu to #Appleebees in Clio, Michigan. They went all out for veterans. The service was amazing, the food was tasty, and they went above and beyond to decorate and wear red, white, and blue for the people who served their country. They really set the bar high for all other restaurant chains. A big shout out to the manager Nicole and all staff who were willing to participate in my photo op. I'd go back 100 times just for the treatment we received!

Most of the food came out quickly. New staff, but they are working hard. One meal got lost in the shuffle as things got busy. Servers, cooks, and management went above and beyond to sort it out. We tried not to complain too much, but they still ended up comping food and offering a free dessert, as we were celebrating a birthday.
Overall a great experience. Thanks for working to make everything more than right.
We has the all you can eat boneless wings. They were horrible. We had to send them back about 3 times. They were well well done. Our server was the best. When the manager got in involved we finally got some not so well done wings.
Applebee's was busy, and the manager took our order. My husband ordered chicken tenders with honey barbecue sauce as an appetizer. We got chicken tenders with some kind of Asian flavoring that was super spicy (hot). The waitress quickly fixed the problem. I had ordered the Balsamic Strawberry Chicken Salad as my entrée. I wasn't a fan of the Lemon Oil dressing, but it was edible. Unfortunately, the salad did not have enough dressing, and there was no Balsamic Glaze, so I was essentially eating undressed greens. One third of the way through my salad, I realized that there was no chicken. I asked the waitress: "Isn't this salad supposed to have chicken?" She confirmed it and tried to fix the problem, but it was a busy night. The chicken arrived; it was dry and had a strange flavor. She brought more Lemon Oil dressing, which did nothing to improve the salad. The bottom-line: Regardless of the errors, the food at Applebee's just isn't that good.
Our waitress Kiersten was amazing! She is so kind, so friendly and amazing at her job! I wanted to hug her he entire time she was helping us. The streak was one of the best cooked steaks I have had. Please make sure you keep the chef and especially Kiersten!
Service was great, very attentive server. Food was even better. Everything done well. Hubby had 12oz steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli, cleaned his plate. I had chicken fajita roll-up that was stuffed full and delicious.
If you like not full beers, hard buns on your burgers, and everything secretly being an add on price this is the spot to go. Then if you speak up about anything they'll give you a placating sad face and not do a thing about it. It's sad that these corporations feel this is ok. I recommend nothing except take your money elsewhere and hopefully theyll go out of business and a real restaurant will take its place. Never again will you get my money. Buyer beware
