It’s an older not well cared for establishment. I was seated immediately. Zay took my order and had my food out within 10 mins. Last night in Bowie, it took over 20 mins and still no drink, so I left. Thank you Franklin Applebee’s for knowing and providing good service.
The food was about average. Tortilla strips were n the stale side. This was one of the most spicy ones I’ve had. They must have more hot sauce in the chipotle sauce or whatever it is they use. The quesadillas were soggy. Almost like they weren’t fried at all. But I ate it all, so it wasn’t that bad. And I would return to this location. Service was excellent, food could’ve been better.
Serving size did seem a little on the petite side, but it was enough to fill me up. Most locations over serve nowadays.
I went in for dinner. I sat down and ate. It was pretty good, but the only problem I had was I told the lady upfront that I was going to my car to get my credit card because I left my my wallet and when I left to get my credit card, I parked my car right beside the door so it would be easier for me to walk in because I have asthma and thought I was leaving and not paying, and they called the police on me
I fight is very rude of them for trying to call the police on me for no reason I will not be going back to this place again and I felt rush the whole time I was here they kept asking if I needed any thing i said I was fine and they kept coming to my table asking if I needed any day and I told him for the fifth time that I was fine and I just want to eat my food in peace then they ask if if I was ready for the check and I told him no because I was still eating and this is one the reason why I won’t go back to this restaurant again and the whole time I was eaten time I was eating they kept looking at me and it was making me uncomfortable I just had a pretty bad experience that day because I had just lost my mother and I just needed to get out the house In the whole time I was at Applebee’s I was getting disrespected and they called the police on me Never come here again
My meal of salmon was fine. My husband ordered a Mac n cheese centered dish, what came out was a VERY bland white pasta sauce. It wasn't even an Alfredo, just a bland white sauce. Our server was apologetic and tried to help by bringing out parmesan, but nothing could help. He ate the chicken that was atop the pasta, but left the bulk of his meal. The atmosphere is a typical Applebee's, fine. The restaurant did appear clean.
Still great for a late night bite in Franklin! Did my pre-birthday here. Everything and everyone was fantastic!
Tip: if you like your steaks rare... Ask for "extra rare/cold in the middle"... They'll make it and it WILL be delicious!

Had not been in a couple of years, went for dinner an the food was pretty good, and Service was good. Place could use some updating like new clean carpet an such but overall a decent experience.
Being in this area, there isn’t much to eat around here so Applebee’s is usually a regular place i go to when going out to eat. Usually the service is either hit or miss, but tonight I went out to eat with my partner for our anniversary. Julie was our server and she was fantastic! Such a respectful girl & was very on top of everything from the drink refills, to communication, food times, and just everything all over. and this is coming from a fellow server. we need more servers like her. Overall such a fantastic experience. ❤️
Food below par. Customers though out the restaurant were complaining of food and services. There were people in the parking lot causing and arguing. The manager was dressed inappropriate. The servers were complaining about Customers in front of us. They gave us plastic fork and knife to eat with because the silverware wasn't cleaned. Try cutting a rubbery steak with plastic. They were out of beer that was on sale. The other sale drink was watered down. I could go on. Two stars was for our waitress who was trying but not for the restaurant.
Food was exactly as I expected. I got a grilled Chicken with shrimp. My husband got it with the cajun flavoring and I got it without the cajun flavoring, The mashed potatoes were phenomenal as usual. It was very happy with our waitress and the service .
