Best KPortal Reviews
The food was surprisingly exceptional for a chain. Tender chicken, tasty burgers, great fries! If you need to eat some good American fare, for a reasonable price— this is the place. I assume any Applebees will do. Menu was ample. The service was a bit off on my visit. Had to ask for ranch dressing 3x. Was quick service otherwise. Typical chain atmosphere. Lives up to its advertising…which is rare.
My initial hesitation to dine at Applebee's again, based on a previous less-than-stellar experience, was quickly dispelled during my recent visit. Despite a crowded entrance and a brief wait time of less than 10 minutes, the energetic and attentive service from our waitress set a positive tone for the evening.
While their cherry Pepsi fell flat, her recommendation of blueberry lemonade more than made up for it. Both of us were pleased with our salads—mine being perhaps the best Caesar I've had, and my companion enjoying a ranch dressing comparable to Eat'n Park's.
The atmosphere was lively, albeit a bit noisy, but our entrees arrived promptly and were deliciously hot and flavorful. My 3-cheese Mac with sesame chicken lived up to my cravings, while my companion's chicken tenders and seasoned fries were also commendable.
Despite minor hiccups like a crowded entrance and one disappointing beverage, the overall experience was overwhelmingly positive, owing much to the exceptional service and satisfying food. Applebee's has now become my go-to place for pasta dishes and chicken tenders, and it comes highly recommended.
Lisa was an amazing waitress as you can see in the picture a back up sweet tea! It was all you can eat double crunch shrimp for me!
Everything I enjoyed about this place has gone downhill. Slow service when there is hardly any one else eating indoors. No variety and not many options on the menu. They have signature dishes, but still isn't quality (they use glued steaks), and their cleanliness isn't the best. Beware!!! I also had a waitress try to tip my card without permission! I found out through my cash app. Corporate rectified the issue, but beware!
Food was good. The service was bad. Waitress took orders for drinks and appetizers., but never returned. We were told her shift was over so we had another waitress put in our appetizer order. Also we saw the first waitress waiting on another table yes she never left. What’s up with that. My sister waited 15 minutes for the salad dressing she asked for. Terrible unexceptionable. Won’t be back and mind you the place was empty.
Stopped in for take out. I had two glasses of wine while I waited. The bartender was amazing. Food came out quick and was correct. Price was reasonable for what was given. The place was backed. I had to park a ways away. I was scared that I would have to stand at the bar. Lol
Everything was good but the steak no taste
Not great. Definitely went downhill the past few years. Probably won't eat here again, I had a street steak that tasted like oven cleaner and my girlfriend's boneless chicken bites were dry and leathery, the place is dirty and a shell of what it used to be. There's far better places to eat on McKnight for the money it costs to eat here anymore. The service makes you feel like you shouldn't have walked in the door, one of the worst experiences eating out I've had in a while. Never going back here again.
