One nice thing about a visit to Applebee's is knowing there will be some consistency. One knows what to expect aa the walk through the doors. When traveling, that is also a comfortable feeling. This site was very much like all the other Applebee's I have visited. Well lit, comfortable seating choices, plenty of menu options. It's a good combination. Our server could have done a little better, as she didn't mention any of the daily specials and had to be asked for drink refills. Otherwise the night went well. The food was nicely prepared a d. Very tasty. If you're in the Beaver Dam area and need a late dinner, this is a good choice. (It may be the only choice after 9pm)
We arrived and was told that there would be an 35 minute wait for the kitchen. So we were told that we could sit at the bar. While waiting other people that came in were told the same thing, by this time the hold was lifted and we can now start to order. Let me remind you that we had been waiting for 25 minutes. So the others that came in way later than us were approached and placed their orders. When I said excuse me the Waitress came to take are orders. We will not order any drinks there again for 2 drinks it cost $30.00 dollars. Crown royal, Peach schnapps, cranberry juice. Once the food came it was luke warm. We will not be going back.
I decided to try Applebee's after not having been here for several years. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger special, and the bun was greasy. When I picked up the burger it dripped grease. NO it was not juice, it was definitely grease. Looking at the bacon, it was barely cooked. I paid cash for my meal, and when the waitress brought my change, she had short changed me. It was very obvious as the only thing I received back was bills, no coins. I was short changed $0.61. I spoke with the bartender and she quickly saw the problem and reimbursed me. They were understaffed, but by the time I was paying my bill, I was the only one left in the dining room. While I left a tip, it certainly was not the percentage I would normally leave. I definitely will not be going back anytime soon!!!
This last veterans was free a free meal thank you very much. Went back again a few days later to show my things are different. The service was slow one bar tender one waitress. The room was cold I had to wear my jacket it is winter. I know went back again this visit was fantastic. I ask for a warm location to sit. The waitress was good. The service was good, the food was good. See, you have to go back 3 × 2 judge the book by his cover..
After a long driving day, we were greeted with a smile and service was great. Love how the menu has calories listed. We both made wise choices and it was delicious.
Service was lacking, food was cold.. time to get anything was extremely long. Staff was uninformed of staffing issues or just failed to let customers know. Manager,im guessing.. put sign on door about lacking staffing as we were leaving.. I would have probably understood had I been informed Pryor to the poor dinning experience
Poor management! Short staffed and always runs out of things! We frequent this location approximately 2 times a month if not more. And there is always something they are out of! Today on mother's day they had one waitress for whole store! And only 10 tables were occupied and there was a 45 min wait! On mother's day! Extremely poor management!
My boyfriend's and I won't be back. Our waitress was the best part of the experience. After waiting for quite some time to be seated we were greeted by what I assume was a manager who asked us to bear with her as she was the only one. She seated us and then never came back. Our waitress came out quickly from wherever she was at and promptly took our order. She was cheerful and informative and quite helpful. However, the food was cooked horribly. The ribs were like biting into leather, the pasta was very very very overcooked, literally everything was overcooked. The drinks we ordered were delicious, but we didn't go there cuz we were thirsty. The food was terrible.
