Visited 12/3/22 the service was awful. We waited 45 mins. Only because the cooks were busy w/ many to go orders & our family member work there. I ordered a cheese burger well done. Instead it was raw. I sent it back & they used the same burger patty & added more cheese. I sent it back again & this time it was right. By the time it was presented, my hubby was finished & I took it to go. The mgr on duty was reluctant to give a discount, he eventually did.
Great visit , not too busy and server was very friendly, my entree barely had any cheese despite it being a 4cheese pasta plate it was hot and fresh though
Cheese sticks were good, pasta was bland, and the chicken was tasty. Every since the global transportation shortage, I noticed a trend in food at these types of restaurants not tasting the same.
I was bothered that they sat a couple right next to us as opposed to spreading us out.
Me and my fiance were just in this apple bees. We should not of waited 30 minutes just to get an appetizer and wait even longer for food especially when it is not busy. And what is up with the sus behind bringing my fiance but asking if i wanted a refill? I find it kind of hard to believe all the straws were cracked to where you can’t drink out of them because all the other customers had straws and not one complained. Very paranoid atmosphere between the service overall. The server even looked to have had open wounds of some kind on her arms. 20 dollars and 37 cents for appetizers and 2 or 3 sodas in which I still paid and tipped because it is the right thing to do. The Central Park apple bees is way better.
People usually express thier opinions on service rendered when things go badly. I want to take the time to acknowledge the Applebees in Stafford. I ordered some items for pick up on 3/23 at 1015 online. After my purchase, I received an email that my order would be ready at 1031. I arrived at 1034 but didnt receieve my food until 30 mins later. Half of my order was cold and the fries were very old. I asked to speak with the manager. After speaking to him, he was very apologetic, and ensured my order was rectified and made every attempt to ensure I was satisfied with my order. The young lady (Alicia I think) was also very helpful and professional. This isnt always the case at some restaurants. I will continue to go to applebees bc of the food but more importantly, the service.
I've been living in Stafford since 2017. I used to frequent this place at least once a week for about a year. Then something happened and it tanked.
I know the pandemic messed up the restaurant business pretty good, but the food here is inconsistent and always has been. The place is 50/50 dirty with tables almost never turned over.
But most importantly, the service is horrifically slow and most of the staff is very apathetic. Occasionally we've had some amazing servers, but they usually don't last long and we never see them again.
Do yourself a favor and go to Chili's (literally next door to it). It's not much better, but it's still better. Or bdubs (also right next to it).
I remember going once after arriving home from a flight (around 11pm). There was a woman sitting at the bar drinking with her kid in the stool next to her (probably around 11).
Just skip this place.
My Nanna is visiting from PA, and she has a service dog.
Antoine, the host that sat us, offered to get some water for the service dog, which was so sweet!!! No one has ever asked that before in the restaurants we've been in together.
Also, Ashley served us and she was wonderful! She also got water for the dog!

My family and I went to Applebees for my 6 year olds birthday. We quietly told the waitress that it was her birthday, to have the staff sing her happy birthday. When we got our food, my chicken in my Alfredo was undercooked and the pasta was overcooked. My husbands fiesta lime chicken was so salty he ate it and started coughing. My daughter’s strawberry and yogurt was curdled. We sent the food back, and it was comped, thankfully which I appreciate. However, the waitress then secretly asks what dessert we wanted. She brought it and just handed it to my daughter, without singing happy birthday. That was extremely disappointing, especially because she just watched her brother get sung happy birthday at the same apple bees. Usually the food is pretty good, and the service is wonderful. However, this time was disappointing enough to discuss.
