I’ve had issues with the salads at this place for over a year now, and I’ve never had the same issue at any other location. I’ve called in the past, and while the host or manager was very nice in taking my call, I just get told they get “bad salad” or “bad lettuce mixes”. Other items are typically fine. Tonight is about the worst it’s ever been besides the one time I had to call this location because they served me salad that was so fermented it was producing an odor upon opening it at home. Ordered for pickup, wings were ice cold after a 15 minute wait past promise time. The salads again, almost every piece was rotten, beginning to rot, or literally just liquified, fermenting, and putrid. You can see the picture for comparison about what was actually “edible” versus what would probably make me sick if I ate it. I don’t have time every single time I order at this location to call a store that is already busy, and to be only offered a replacement or a “coupon” to come back and get something else. Genuinely at this point it’d be great to just be refunded and in the future I’m just going to stop ordering this item. If the salad this location is receiving is this fermented it doesn’t make sense to me why someone doesn’t speak up and refuse to stop serving it. Your cooks/whoever prepares this item is clearly aware this is an ongoing issue, yet someone is allowing it to continue to go out the door like this. It’s appalling. Literally serving inedible food.
We had a great experience at the university Applebees. Honestly, we’ve tended to avoid this place in the past due to some less than stellar previous experiences, but it really seems like they’ve turned things around. All the staff were very courteous, and more than one person checked on us during and after our meal to make sure things were good. The food was good, came out quickly, and our server Tara was great!
Tara cleaned all the bottles and freshened up the entire bar while it was slow. It smells super fresh and the decorations are so cute! A very calm, cozy environment. I’d recommend the Winter Sangria! ????
They do a great job for Veteran's Day! Got the crowds through without rushing and the food arrived promptly. Great service, too.
I haven’t been to Applebees in years - no specific reason, we just don’t think about it. We went in tonight and all loved our dinner! Great, quick service and delish food. We will be back for some of those late night specials!
Jerry D was my server, he was excellent. He was very attentive to ALL his tables, not just mine. I watched him interact with elderly guests and he was beyond kind to them. My food was good. It was hot and didn’t take long to get at all. The restaurant was clean. The parking lot was also clean. I travel for work and eat out Sunday through Thursday. This Applebee’s is better than the one back home.
Love the atmosphere at this location, staff is extremely friendly, cooks are great at their job! Huge thanks to Jack,Faith,Maddie and Tara for making this restaurant stand out from other Applebees locations. Crew is always welcoming and extremely efficient! Thank you guys for fantastic hospitality, keep it up! Definitely coming back for more!
Went for the wing special and some drinks. Well, unfortunately, the wings gave us food poisoning. The service was not the greatest either; we asked for one thing and got another. However, they gain a few points with how good their drinks are.
