I ???? ve Applebee's in the Bay Area. As luck would have it there was a Applebee's across the street from Homewood Suites by Hilton. My 1st visit was Wednesday 4/17 after picking up my Sis from the airport. We enjoyed the Happy Hour special. Next day 4/18/2024 I went again to celebrate my BDAY and was met my Jo the same bartender server who served me the day before.Jo looked so familiar,she asked where I was from I replied " The Bay Area" she said she was from San Jose,Ca. After further discussion we figured out we shared the same time & space at the San Jose Jazz Festival...Small world.
Always have the best time at Applebee's! I know a lot of people are divided with their quality, and truthfully if your on a budget which most of us are these days, and you want a nice quick place to eat l, where you can have a few drinks, laughs, and decently priced appetizers, hit up Applebee's! The service is great, the food is decent as long as you take advantage of their happy hours! They always have specials running, and do cute birthday stuff! Just go and enjoy yourself! You'll leave full, lit, & happy ????❤️
Not the best service today and my steak wasn't cooked to order. The manager of the store did come and talk to me to see if there was anything he could do. I only saw the waiter when I ordered and to get my bill.
We have been on an Applebees kick lately and we chose this location since it closes later. We were surprised to see the place lonely and were concerned that they might be understaffed. That was not the case as the waitress did a fabulous job of tending to us. To top it off all appetizers were half off. For dinner for four and plenty of drinks it was a bargain. I added one less star for the food only because some portions of the boneless wings were a little dry, but very few within the serving.
Food tasty! Kind of loud when place filled! Waitress was superb! Great specials! Impressed as thought all was frozen and out of a bag, but my chicken salad seemed fresh and flavorful!
I guess if you went on average, I think it might be a two point five. Man, bad. I think the best thing from this takeout was the delivery. This delivery is one of the better, I guess we have had in a while. I can say, at least, it didn't end up thrown up against the door this time. Now, this time, it was the food itself. I called and spoke with the restaurant manager, and he verbally told me to complain to Uber Eats. Now, I have the name of the gentleman I spoke with, so... So yeah, maybe honestly, tonight I say a 1.1 stars. The burger was burnt and dry as hell. The fries were soggy like your grandmother's night night socks she asked you to wring out in the morning so they would dry by night fall.
We had a great family dinner with our 9 kids. Price was reasonable. The server was great! No complaints about the atmosphere. There were plenty of people there but no wait. Plenty of all you can eat deals for those who want a bargain.
