We enjoyed our meal and our server was good. However, we arrived and ordered by 8:30, with the understanding that kids eat free (see picture). Our bill arrived at 9:13 and we were admonished that kids only eat free until 9 p.m. Well, we had ordered at 8:30, so.....Also, nowhere is it advertised that "night" ends at 9 p.m. They did ultimately honor the free kids meals, but it required a push back. "Rules" should be clearly posted on the menu, in the restaurant, or described by the server. Had we known there was a 9 p.m. cutoff, we would have requested our bill earlier. We will be unlikely to return to this particular Applebee's.
Food was meh. Went for the endless deal and the riblets were mostly gristle and bone. Shrimp definitely wasn't crunchy, felt microwaved but decent flavor. Boneless wings were the best of the 3. The Honey Pepper sauce was pretty good. Took forever to get refills on anything, only 1 server during lunch had her running all over and making drinks at the bar! She was so overworked.
The food was great. The drinks were watered down. Becky was sufficient and nice but a bit rushy with us.
Update:. We visited this location again and again the food was great. The drink was actually really good this time, a mountain dew drink. And again we had Becky, and she was friendly but again clearly in a rush. Even if her shift is ending we shouldn't be able to tell the difference. Customer service should always be at your best.
This place was the only place open for a sit down restaurant after 7p we had high hopes thinking it’s gotta be good since they have business. Nope apparently they forgot how to train waitresses. She was nice enough but a simple thing as getting a straw for my drink not once but twice was a lot of struggle for her, not just cause she never showed up at the table. The building wasn’t even full and the other table was complaining about the same things we were.
Worst service that I have ever had at an Applebee's, or any other sit down restaurant. It started out fine, but soon fell apart. I had ordered decaf, which she made fresh (for which I was grateful), but I said I would be needing cream when I ordered. When she brought the coffee, I reminded her of the cream, but she didn't hang out long enough to hear me. It took five minutes to flag down another server to get my cream. However, when we had finished our meals, it took at least fifteen minutes, waiting for our bill. Even then, my husband had to flag down a manager to get it. While we were talking to her, I let her know that the table behind us had not yet been approached to order their food. I have never left a smaller tip in my life! The service wasn't bad, it was atrocious.

Unprofessional hostess working. Would not allow several customers while there was currently a 20-30 minute wait time ... to sit at the bar area because " other customers ruined it for everybody by eating at the bar!" Several empty tables available. Once seated and still waiting to order ... three BBW make their way to the bar and are catered to, drinks served and food orders taken before our waitress even greets us. Once we do order, their food is delivered before we even get our drink order which was made wrong.
Got together with family to break bread together! The food... Chicken Alfredo was good with my mozzarella sticks. And the Shark drink was busting. I'm like hold up,I need another one. Good atmosphere. Laughing and talking watching the game, movie ot TV .
