This is a pretty okay pizza spot in the area. The pizza however in my opinion has a lot of potential to be great but it was just way too much cheese and not enough sauce which led to it being super greasy. The wings are pretty good and the buffalo chicken Stromboli is good also. The Stromboli just isn’t consistent with the sauce, sometimes you can barely taste the buffalo other times it’s perfect. All in all it wouldn’t be a bad place to try out for yourself.
I get a large Buffalo Chicken Stomboli every time I go as I love the Buffalo sauce. I've attached pictures of my last 3 orders. I ordered the same large Stromboli and a side of blue cheese in the 3 different side sauce sizes available. Light comes with 1, Extra comes with 2 and XXtra comes with 3. I did try ordering it on the apollos website with blue cheese clicked but without a size and no sauce was given. This seems like a unique issue with food that already comes with side sauces as the system defaults to it being checked but the store does not have it on the receipt unless a sauce size is choosen.
This place is amazing. They are great people and their prices are SO reasonable (I love their deals). This is my new “to go to” pizza place now. I have ordered here a few times now with delivery, and the food always get here hot and the order is always correct. Thank you Apollo Pizza for understanding us and not being money hungry. ❤️
I revisited Apollo since it was a childhood favorite pizza place for plain pizza and was pleased to find that they still do Greek style pizza (where the crust is thin but crispy). They do not skimp on the cheese and we love that they sprinkle cheese all the way up to the crust so there isn’t too much bare crust. At most places, you’d have to ask for extra cheese for what Apollo puts on a standard large plain pizza. When you want an inexpensive, delicious pie, you can’t beat Apollo’s value!
I’ve purchased a few Pizzas from Apollo but todays was horrible . The sauce was sweet , the flavors were off . Bought a large Meat Lovers but only ate a slice . Yikes , I don’t think i’ll purchase any more . $25 for the pizza and $3 tip, all down the drain !!
Called and waited over an hour for a 25 min delivery which is only a few blocks away from the location. Got no food delivered and when I called back I got no answers. This is the 3rd disappointing time ordering from them the past 2 months. I don’t know what they have going on over there but it’s unprofessional and messed up. This is the last time I will be ordering from here and I’ve been eating here for years but something is different and they obviously don’t care anymore about quality or service. DO NOT GIVE THEM THE MONEY OR TIME. They have to do better. I will be taking my business else where and will be letting everyone know who orders from here to find a new spot .
Food was very good...no complaints at all..the lack of mask wearing by employees wasn't good... In this day and time that can help kill a business. Chicken cheesesteak hoagie was great!! Looked amazing too!!
How are you gonna charge $10.99 for cheesteak egg rolls and this is what you provide? Not only is it just 2 cut in half but they’re the smallest cheesesteak egg rolls I’ve ever seen. Inflation isn’t THAT bad,
