I have only been in this pharmacy twice since it’s changed from Lloyds and both times I have left upset.
The first time I was waiting to be served and I witnessed an altercation between the pharmacist and a customer who had been given the wrong prescription. The disagreement went on for about 15 minutes so I left the shop and went to another chemist. I thought it was just a one off.
However
yesterday evening I went in there to buy an eye product which I have had before and I took the old box with me to make sure I got the correct product. They had it there on the shelf but assistant refused to sell it me because she said I did not have an eye infection. The pharmacist didnt even bother to come out and look at my eyes!!
Their attitude was awful.
I walked out and bought the product from another chemist.
After reading other reviews I can see its not only me being dissatisfied with Apollo pharmacy. I won’t go there again. Complete waste of time and made me feel rubbish!
Unfortunately we have had to change pharmacies due to the constant frustration of them either not having my babys formula in, even after calling in advance to be told it's there and when I arrive they tell me its not! Even though one of the women confirm it's been sitting in the back for several days upon another phone call several days later. They never have the full amount of prescription that is required as we always seem to get an "I owe you" which is again frustrating and after 6 months of the constant battle we have moved to get better service.
That said, the one lady that has been there for a while, since before June (sorry I don't have her name) is so helpful and knows her stuff. Shame the newer staff don't have her politeness and manners.
Since it changed from Lloyds Pharmacy its not been the same. Every single time I have been to pick up my prescriptions, there are at least 3 lights flickering. I'm going to pick up my epilepsy medication and worry I'm going to have a seizure because of their lights. 90% of the time they don't have my medication so I have to come back weeks later. They stand behind the counter and talk and completely ignore the line of people waiting for 20 minutes and then they serve. Looks like a dump, what has happened?
popped in, wish I had checked the reviews first, stood for 5 minutes before anyone even said could they help? All the girls looked at me and just carried on, shelves empty, took ages to even find out if they had what I wanted, something very simple, once found 5 minutes later, no price on Product, had to go away and check another 5 minutes later, everyone so miserable.
Will think twice before going in, AWFUL CHEMIST!!!!
Drove 25 mins at night to get here before it ‘closed’ at 10.30pm with 30 mins to spare to get a medicine for our daughter, but it was already shut. Suggest you update your opening hours as you’ve got our hopes up, and wasted our time and petrol
One member of staff was on, doors locked and only three people were allowed in because she was alone working. No idea how she could do prescriptions I always thought a second person was needed to double-check them.
Also the shop was absolutely filthy
Drove here for 25 mins for my son to find it closed, update the web site too late to go anywhere eles now! Will never use again
As we all know it’s an absolute nightmare finding somewhere to park up there, but since takeover it’s made the process an absolute nightmare not issuing all medication and not knowing till hubby is home with it and then having to return they seriously need to sort out the process and store your whole order together
