So glad we found Antonio’s. We moved here 6 years ago from the north. It’s so hard to find great pizza. We ordered a mushroom and onion pie. With that first bite I knew we found our place. My husband had the antipasto salad and we shared the garlic dots. Both were amazing.!! We can’t wait to go back and work our way through the menu.
My family tried Antonio’s for the first time tonight, and we were not disappointed. We got the meatball and the cheesy garlic bread appetizers which were both delivered in a timely manner and delicious. The large pepperoni pizza was so cheesy that pulling the slice away reminded me of the pizza scene in “A Goofy Movie”! I’ve seen others complain about the grease, but pizza isn’t meant to be a health food. My family enjoyed every bite and if we had more room we would have ordered more. The staff was quick to serve and take care of us. We will be back for sure!
That was a terrible experience. To start l'll give it two stars instead of one because are waitress did the best she could for us, but that was the only upside of the whole experience. After ordering our food it took over thirty minutes to receive our appetizer. We got the pepperoni roll and it was fine, but dripping in grease. After over an hour wait and seeing many people come in after us receive their food, eat, and leave we finally received our pizza after saying something to the waitress. The pizza was beyond disappointing. As seen in the pictures it was extra doughy/undercooked and too greasy. The pizza couldn't even hold itself together from all the grease everything just slid off. We did come during a take out rush, but again after seeing numerous people get food after arriving after us we were beyond disappointed with the entire experience and have no plans to ever return.
We at Gttc Innovations would like to thank ????Antonio’s Italian eatery for accommodating our celebration ???? it was a true Success…this place has so many different kinds of pizza (salads..pasta… etc) it took a moment to actually decide. It was nice good place for family or just a quick little self date…I might come back just to try wine with my pizza..feeling a lil classy????. Thank you until next time. It was a pleasure ????#stayfocused
*UPDATE: In reply to the owner of this establishment I was not critiquing personal taste but informing people who are looking for a more Italian style of true Italian food that this would not be the establishment for them so that they don't make the same mistake i did. I am in no way debating the price of the cost of food with you and I do understand our economy's inflation is ever expanding. Still the food isn't up to par of what you would expect from an Italian restaurant. I do hope your food does taste better in the future and would love to visit you in the future and try again.*
This being an Italian eatery I thought why not try it. My wife got the lasagna and I got the fettuccine alfredo to which I added the chicken for 6 more dollars. We also got the appetizer the garlic dough dots. Italian bread and salad came with the meals. The Italian bread was brought out warm before the appetizer while we was still eating the salad. The food was some of the blandest food I've ever tasted. This place has great atmosphere but lacks a flavor profile in the food. Being as how we couldn't eat the food it was a waste of money. I don't know who is cooking the food here but seasoning needs to be introduced to the food.
Update: went back again today and ordered a fresh pie. Flavor is great and the pie was cooked through this time. My personal opinion is the dough is over worked and tougher than a traditional NY pie. It definitely should have chew but maybe a little too much and slightly thicker. That's my personal opinion of course. The service is where you lost a star but it's hard to find good help anymore. The girl asked for my pie and the kitchen handed it up. She played with some other stuff for a few minutes rather than just handing me my pie so I can leave. The server I had last time disappeared and I was in a rush and she didn't even check on us once. She looks like she hates her job and looks miserable. I didn't have anytime left to wait and tell managers or owners.
The server Carolyn served us today, she was good. But at times, we had to wait for her to come by while she was checking on guests around us. The ambiance was very pleasing to the eyes, and the place was a little homey experience for us. We enjoyed it overall. The deluxe pizza that my hubby ordered was really good. However, the linguine with the clams that I ordered was so-so, the sauce was very liquidity rather than creamy, where it would sink to the bottom of the plate, leaving the shredded clams and linguine noodles to become too dry. The bread and salad were good, and the price was somewhat decent as well. But overall, my hubby and I had a wonderful experience there. I would come back to dine in for the other options that they have available.
We are on a short work trip, we wanted to eat something decent and we saw the rating of this place and decided to go, it had a lot of people and we waited very little for a table, the service is first class, our waitress was super sweet and attentive all our dinner, the food was delicious and fulfilled
