Customer service was amazing. So kind and informative. I had the pork with rice and beans and a plantain. It also came with a salad and I got a lime juice to drink. Everything was AMAZING. The pork is incredibly tender and not greasy, melts in your mouth. The rice and beans were delicious and packed with flavor, the plantain was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the lime juice was incredibly refreshing. Above an beyond customer service as well. Thank you so much, I'll be back!
The service there is absolutely terrible. Last time I ordered at 2pm over the phone and I was told it would be 20 mins for it to be ready. Due to them normally taking longer and I arrived 20 mins later than the time they said and my food wasn't ready. They were not busy either. I had to wait another 15 mins. There was no apology or acknowledgement even though I made a comment about it.
Today was worse, I called and asked what they had left because it was later in the day and at times they don't have everything. The girl(different girl from previous visit) who answered the phone was rude thinking I was someone else who kept calling that day. Again, no apology, I get there and this girl again with an attitude rushing me to order when she wouldn't take my order over the phone. There was no manager on site so nobody to complain to. I don't go there often because it's out of the way and the food itself is decent however they aren't worth it. I almost came out of character due to being so heated. DONT EAT THERE.
The food is delicious but the service is terrible every since the new girl began working the register. She lies about food items being out because she doesn’t want to ring up another order and doesn’t make sure all food items are in your order when bagging the food. I literally saw her give this man pikliz & when I asked to pay for some she said I had stew chicken (as if to say I don’t need any) then she said they were out of pikliz despite it being lunchtime & they had only been open 2 hours. I drove 20 miles one way for a meal just to not have my banann in my order when I got home. $20…no pikliz nor the banann that I paid for. On a previous day late last year, I called in my order to this same woman just to arrive and learn that she never placed the order for me & told me on the phone they had griot only for me to arrive to find out I had no order & she said there was no more griot despite what she told me 30 minutes before on the phone when I thought I was calling my order in for pickup. I have been coming here a few years now & this woman is the worst experience I’ve had.
The other lady who use to work the register was much more friendlier and never lies about menu items being out & never messed up orders. I’ll try the other location from here on.
They are very rude especially to Americans we like your food too. Why be rude. A smile and an attitude of I want to help you would make it better. I love the food though
Idk what people tripping about. the food is good and stuff they gave me good service when I forgot to get money, out my car they just gave it to me for free, I love, this restaurant, and would come here every, day I meet some of my. Haitian, people coming there. That's how good, it is.
Whenever I am in Orlando, I stop here for food. IT is sooo GOOD! The rice is very flavorful, and the meats tender and delicious. I have had good service every time I've come as well. 5 Stars!
I don’t normally do reviews, but I felt obligated to. I always try to support Haitian businesses when I can, but I can’t here. I came here for the first time with my family in early August.
This will also be the last time. The lady who took my families order in the front was perhaps the rudest hostess I’ve ever encountered. She was impatient, condescending, and insulting. Quite frankly, it didn’t seem like she enjoyed her job. And that’s okay. But what you don’t do is take whatever you’re feeling out on customers.
Looking through past reviews, I see customer service is a frequent issue. I genuinely hope this restaurant figures it out by either implementing some training for current staff, or hiring some new staff that aren’t like the aforementioned woman.
Warning! If you wanna waste your money on nasty food go there. On top of that there's no customer service.
