Best KPortal Reviews

The food was phenomenal along with the amazingly friendly servers that went above and beyond! Special shout out to Christina and Memo! This is the first time I went, and I went for a professional dinner and sampled tiny portions of everything and it was amazing! You really can’t go wrong with any of the dishes here. Definitely gonna go there very soon but my favorite of all the ones listed are the chicken and the gnocchi. All the appetizers were great! Warm, energetic environment! Plus, this is great because it is by all the stores as well. I would recommend visiting!
My mom had $40 to spend at any Lettuce Entertain You restaurant so we chose here. It was so good! We got zero proof cocktails that were amazing. We did get dessert as well, my mom said this was the best tiramisu she’s ever had. My teenage sister’s only complain was a small menu. Our sever was also really nice. Would definitely come back and recommend to others!
Update: I returned and everything was more than perfect! Excellent food and phenomenal waiter. We had several pastas and appetizers and the staff that assisted us were very friendly. Big shout out to Tom Walton for his top notch customer service! I will 100% be returning here soon.
I came here to celebrate my friend birthday during restaurant week. We got the restaurant week menu of milestronie, delicati gnocchi, and the tiramisu. All were delicious, and the portion is enough per person. We got the bread as complimentary; it was super soft inside and crunchy on the outside. Our hostess and servers were all very nice. Make sure to make a reservation in advance, as it gets very crowded.
Surprisingly good! Very tasty! The pasta much better than most of the Italian restaurants in Illinois! Highly recommended! Plus I loved how they serve bread with!
All around excellent. Table bread is perfect along with the garnish. Make sure to get a pizza for the table, great crust. I had the most perfect shrimp and pasta dish. Very fresh and satisfying. The lemon chicken is also perfectly made. I strongly recommend using Google Maps to make your reservation because this place constantly fills up really fast. One of the best Lettuce Entertain You restaurants.
Bad service, food was mid. Food overall wasn’t worth the price, and we found a dark hair in our pasta (we are a family of blondes). Our server was aloof and we didn’t learn her name until we saw it printed at the top of our check. The fastest she moved was to bring our bill. We understand that restaurants can be busy, but we came for a 4:45pm dinner and we saw our server maybe 3 times over the 90 minutes we were there, and had to flag her down for those times.
We had a reservation to celebrate a graduation, and were sat at a booth that backed the bussing station (photo included), so we heard clinking and had towels hitting our backs during the hour long wait for our food.
Our family doesn’t usually leave reviews or complain, but this was not an ideal graduation dinner and was not worth the price. Maybe if you have a different server your experience will be different. We could’ve had an isolated experience. Just wanted to share.
Having worked for Lettuce Entertainment maybe fifty years ago at Johnathan Seafood in Chicago, I find again why Rich Mellman was and still is one of the most successful restaurateurs. He has the formula down pat. Our grilled calamari was very well seasoned and tender served with a pile of arugula to add color, texture and taste. All of our main dishes were well prepared and tasty as well. I especially loved the warm crusty bread that is served with a small plate of anti pasta olive oil. I actually had the last piece with the olive oil for my dessert.
The main room is a bit noisy, but we lucked out and were seated in the smaller anti room, which turned out to be much quieter. We could actually hear each other talk. If you haven’t been here, it is time to make a reservation and enjoy the wonderful food. Thanks again Rich M.
