Best KPortal Reviews

A real Turkish gem in Chicago! Extremely friendly staff, meat quality was excellent. Very clean restaurant!!
The food tastes excellent. The show stopper was baklava. Thank you so much for the food.
Best part was free parking within plaza. I must say that everyone should stop by to taste this restaurant food.
I go here for the best kunefe in Chicagoland, baklava, and kazandibi. Of course the food is great. You should try both the coffee and tea. And the service is awesome. They are super helpful and always ready with recommendations. It’s a nice place with modern decor and warm atmosphere.
My dining experience at Antepli last night was nothing short of a culinary adventure that transported me straight to the heart of Turkish cuisine. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, the alluring smell and sight of baklava and kunafa from their bakery set the stage for an exciting meal. The ambiance of Antepli further elevated the dining experience, featuring a cozy sitting area with spacious tables and wide chairs ensuring comfort throughout our meal.
We opted for the family meal for two, which was a parade of flavors starting with an assortment of appetizers including lentil soup, salad, hummus, haydari, babaganoush, and shakshuka. The lentil soup was a standout, boasting perfectly cooked beans and small chunks of meat, seasoned with fresh herbs that made each spoonful a delight. The spreads were equally impressive, each offering a unique taste that was fresh and flavorful.
The entrée followed, presenting a succulent selection of doner, adana, chicken, and kofta kababs. Each had its own distinctive taste, tender, juicy, and beautifully complemented by the freshly served bread. The meal concluded on a high note with Turkish tea and coffee, accompanied by baklava that was simply divine. The first bite of baklava was a sensory explosion, perfectly balanced with syrup and nuts, and when paired with the tea, it was a match made in heaven.
However, the only drawback of the evening was the service. Despite the restaurant's team-based service model, we found ourselves waiting over ten minutes before being acknowledged, with several waiters noticing us but failing to offer assistance. This pattern of inattention persisted throughout our meal, requiring us to actively seek out staff for service, including a reminder for our ordered tea and baklava.
Despite the service hiccup, the exceptional quality and authenticity of the food at Antepli more than compensated, making the overall experience truly memorable. The mastery in Turkish cuisine displayed by Antepli deserves commendation, and it's a place I eagerly look forward to visiting again. If not for the service issue, this would have been a solid 5-star review. Nonetheless, Antepli comes highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic Turkish dining experience that tantalizes the taste buds and invites you on a delicious journey.
I went to this restaurant 5-6 times. And it wasn't bad. But I ordered Beyti during Ramadan. They brought it after heating it in the microwave. I was disappointed. However, I am from Antep, I still do not wanna give a bad score. I liked the kunefe, baklava, lahmacun and pide varieties. The others were bad. Including tea. Also, some employees are rude
Mixed grill was more than enough for 2. Everything tasted great. And the Turkish ice cream was worth the drive.
Excellent desserts. Kunafe amazing. Service nicest I’ve experienced!
The only thing is it is a tad expensive. Still I recommend
Amazing experience overall. We had reservations the staff was very timely and kind, the food was even better. The prices were very reasonable! Very satisfied and will be coming again!!
An exquisite experience! Great service and quaint atmosphere. Loved the appetizer combo plate, doner wrap, and Turkish coffee. A great value too, left super full with leftovers. Will be returning!
