Undercooked pizza and an unpleasant cashier. Daughter loved it, I've seen worse. No excuse for an undercooked pie, just lazy........ We went back, my daughter's choice. Pizza was much better, cooked to perfection, cheese was skimpy on the cheese pizza, it was free with purchase of pepperoni. (3rd and 4th pic.)
Their food is quite literally unedible. A slice of American cheese put on top of a baked potato is a loaded baked potato? You offered me ranch with a Greek salad? What a bizarre, trashy, Italian restaurant.
Good solid pizza and subs. We have the personal pan pizza and the Italian sub. Both delish. Honesty was so nice and helpful!!
So normally the food here is great. Well today it was not. My husband and I both ordered subs. I had asked just for mayonnaise on my ham and cheese sub and once I received it, it did not have mayonnaise and the sub was not even hot, luke warm barely. The waitress was nice but after we got our food she did not check on us until we were finished eating. Upon getting ready to leave, my husband catches the cook DRINKING ALCOHOL while working. This behavior while cooking other people's food is against the law. I ended up getting mild food poisoning from my sub not being cooked right. My husband and I will not be returning here to eat. Because how many other times in the past or the future is that cook going to be drinking alcohol and intoxicated while cooking other people's food?
we are new to the area and decided to order from Anna’s today 4/21/24 we ordered 2 entrees that were not good, 1 entree was supposed to be meat ravioli they were all cheese 2nd entree chicken parm the chicken was burnt all around the edges really don’t know how that could happen, each entree came with a salad I asked for no onions on 1 of the salads they must have put all of the scraps in that container the lettuce was brown had 1 cherry tomatoe 1 cucumber the entrees also came with their homemade bread which was mainly dough I guess we had to finish baking them at home? we spent 37$ and this was the worst food we have had in a long time but I guess you live and learn so this place was a 1 and done place
Wonderful place for some yummy food. The bread for the subs was a highlight. Service was laid back. Will definitely go again when in the area.
Seriously... $32.99 for one pitcher of beer. A normal sized pitcher of Kona. When asked, response was "it's an import beer" (Hawaii is an import???). Other response was "you should have asked first " of course no price on menu. Food was very good, service was excellent, but that's just crazy. Sorry....won't be back. We try to support local businesses instead of chains, but when you feel like you're being taken advantage of, no thanks. Sal's has great food and reasonably priced pitchers.
Anna's does offer the only pizza by the slice in the area. So that's a good thing. The food is okay. We had pizza this time but I've tried others things on prior visits. The decor is very odd to me, but the place remains popular with locals. I think the volume of food is adequate, taste-wise to me is rather ordinary. The truth be known, I havent found a truly outstanding Italian restaurant in my local travels as of yet but continue to look from Montross to Gloucester.
The wait staff was sluggish and their demeanor on the lack luster side. As for prices they range from reasonable to on the higher side. Still I have a fondness for the place since it was the backdrop for a first date for me...so if you're hungry and in the mood for middle range Italian this might do nicely .
