After an urgent call from me Angus arrived to jump start my car within 7 minutes. When I subsequently just missed my ferry, I drove the short distance to his garage and he fixed a new battery within half an hour. Very pleasant service at a reasonable cost!
Had double punctured tires on a Sunday afternoon. Angus arrived with the tow and promptly got us to his shop.
We needed 2 new tires, of which he only had one. He arranged a taxi service to our B&B.
The tire arrived by ferry Monday Eve, and he had us on the road by 830 am. on Tuesday, in time to catch the first ferry off Arran.
Angus could have easily taken advantage of our misfortune but was honest and fair with the repair. Thank you so much.
Because of the fine people on the isle we had a great experience.
On holiday - ferry early next day - Immediately repaired a tyre with an imbedded threaded bolt. Brilliant service and price. 100% recommendation.

My Nissan Elgrand decided to shear it’s near side suspension arm on Friday which could have left us stranded on Arran, as we were due to ferry out on Sunday. Angus was on the case straight away, assessed the issue, ordered the spare on Friday from the mainland. Spare arrived Saturday and Angus had the van ready for collection Sunday morning. Fantastic service, Angus went the extra mile and also had a courtesy car we could use. The cost was very reasonable and the overall service was excellent from a very nIce helpful man. Thank you.
i'm not satisfied with the service of that garage.My car has problem with hydraulic suspension I went in to Angus's Garage and arranged them to take my car and fix it.
First thing is that they ware not able to fix it in the garage so it had to be moved to a different garage.
When i gave my car to Lambie's garage my car didn't have any other fault than the hydraulic suspension but when it came to the other garage some parts have been missing and i had scratches that haven't been there earlier.
I can't say what happened there because I haven't got any proof but when i gave in the car it all was there and when it has been moved to different garage it came with missing parts and scratched.
I wouldn't recommend this garage to anyone that's why i gave it 1 star....
Angus saved our bacon and vacation!, After a major blowout on a rental car, Angus picked us up, took us to the hotel and then went back to tow our car. The lug nut was stripped on the car so, even though he didn’t have a tire that fit, he got the torn tire off and put the temporary tire on for us. He pointed us to the tire shop in Oban and we were able to get back on the road. Thank you Angus! His prices were fair and his service was quick and reliable and, he was a gentleman!
We broke down on the side of the road due to an issue with our clutch. We were dispatched someone through the RAC and he got to us in good time (even with the road closures!) and was able to fix the problem quickly, which meant we could continue our holiday.
