Best KPortal Reviews

Food is consistently good but not great, we think their pancakes are better than most other places. Their burgers and fries are worth it and are large portions.
There is usually a line to order and pick up even to-go orders. Service is consistently poor to OK, in comparison to similar places. Their prices have increased in spring 2024 compared to early 2024 and late 2023 (they seem to have had several price increases in the past few years), so what was once below average is now more like average 2024 prices, and food quality has seemed to decrease. FYI Sunday mornings are probably among their busiest times
I ordered the Wednesday special (patty melt with fries for $11.49) I substituted the fries for onion rings my meal came out to $13.47. The patty melt bread is Rye bread. Didn't think of asking what bread. Assumed it wasn't any specialty Bread but that's okay. It's the meat that was sooo salty I couldn't finish it. My onion rings were cold. Service there is nice. Place is clean. The food isn't good enough for me to return again.
I’m in town for a convention and wanted to find somewhere quick, close but worth my money. I stopped by Vons and Angelos was in the same parking area. Stopped in and was surprised. I ordered the burger box just in case I didn’t like the food but the food was great. I’ll definitely be stopping again when I’m in the area. I forgot to take a picture before I started to eat but at least yall know it’s good since it’s halfway gone ????
Update: still amazing staff, still amazing food!
I LOVE LOVE this Angelos off Chapman & Haster. I have been ordering here for over 15 years. I am glad to see they are still up and running. Extremely busy on weekends. Staff is amazing! I love the tuna melts and Breakfast burrito!
Update: still amazing!
First time here and it was tasty. I saw a few reviews talking about the meat being to thin… Yes the patty is thin but the burger was good. They do advertise it as a 1/4 pound so they’re not hiding the fact that it’s not a lot of meat. I recommend… If you want more meat get a double cheese burger instead. I also ordered chili cheese fries with a side of ranch and it was good. I would definitely go back.
Generic. Plenty of actual good burgers within a block or two radius. Look, they have a vast menu, that's what you come here for.
If you want a mediocre burger with a side of fries and two previously frozen "Tyson" brand chicken strips, this is your jam.
On a positive note they do have a Pininfarina coke machine. They're syrup is turned up too high and carbonation too low so it's a but of a waste here but figured I'd mention it.
This is the same copy and paste burger as every low budget "cafe", like Yellowbasket for instance. Same food supplier, same ingredients same burger. When I say copy and paste I mean it quite literally. I'd go anywhere but Here at this point. I'll try Apollo Burger up the street, I've heard good things about the bulgogi burger.
Hope this helps! AVOID for good food. Welcome if you're high.
Service I rated 3 stars, nothing special, nothing bad. There really isn't anything to say about it.
The service was very friendly as they answered my questions and were patient as I wasn’t sure what to order. The food was definitely tastier than any fast food restaurant. I’m going home to Houston in a few days, but when I come back in town I’ll be returning.
The food was yummy ???? we had breakfast here. The service was fast and the prices wasn't too bad. It's a family restaurant so yeah it's loud kids will be kids. Great place to visit
