Not sure how to feel about this place. It is the only place in town open late. We were warned by another bartender at another place, that it was a pretty rough bar. We went anyway. I told the bartender here this and she said, "That's not fair!". Then two girls got in a fight and spilled beer all over one of the pool tables lol.
Didn't eat, so I didn't rate the food. I'd imagine this is a good local bar, a little on the dive side. I generally love this kind of place. 2 pool tables, and some good players here, with dancing as well. Amazingly, you can smoke inside at one of the tables.
Love the vibe here. Pot luck Sundays for the Broncos games couldn't feel more at home... Don't forget the patio tucked out back
They’re closing! Last day is May 4th 2024. There’s supposed to be a big party apparently!
Cortez local and when I say avoid this place I mean it. If you do go bring only cash do not ever open a tab here. They will over charge you. I had to turn my card off and make them give it back too me. Then I left. Blondies is way better and loungin lizard is the best place. You don’t have to worry about getting robbed from old bartenders. The staff at the other bars is much better.

Absolutely terrible service. The bartender had the worst attitude and only wanted to serve the “locals only” because she did not recognize us. Such a beautiful town but taints the vibe with unwelcoming service at the only open watering hole after 10:00
I have to say I had an excellent time here. Angel is a treat to meat in person. It is rare that you get to have a conversation with the owner of the bar. Every body there was a pleasure to meat. I had a blast. I was so sorry when closing time came. But I will definitely be back. Thanks Cortez for being so nice to a traveler....
