What a first class bakery, aren’t we so lucky to have it in our area. Always delicious baking, pies & sandwiches at a reasonable price.

We tried a selection of hot and cold food, sandwiches, pastries etc .. all so lovely! And the carrot cake is to die for. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Leyburn.
NB.. to the person who wrote the last review complaining that the staff wouldn’t let their dog on the premises (seriously why would they when they are serving food?) Shame on you for leaving a bad review for a delicious little independent bakers .. all because YOU decide to take YOUR dog out on a walk on hot pavements on the hottest day of the year!!

Miserable person who runs it wouldn’t let our dog even sit in the doorway on one of hottest days of the year whilst he made our sandwiches we were buying from him! Food may be ok who knows (not tried it yet!).
Hardware store down the road had same rules but no issues understanding how hot the sun was.
Doesn’t deserve customers!
I've tried the rest but this is the best.. . trust me I'm a Yorkshire man.The Pies are the best.The pork and black pudding is amazing.
I drive from down south regularly and If I do not return with a Steak Pie...My wife is not a happy bunny.
The staff are always friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
Wonderful traditional bakery, some bakeries are all style and no substance in my opinion and this is almost the opposite, might not look very fancy from the outside but the quality of the pies and biscuits are absolutely top notch!
The bread and pies here are really excellent. I bought a steak pie and it was full of finest steak. Apparantly they are old family recipes from a long line of Dales bakers. Friendly staff, nothing pretentious about the shop, just a great traditional bakery.
Traditional bakery with a good variety of baked goods, pies, cakes etc. Delicious Yorkshire pasties as well! Friendly staff too. ????
