We ate here for the first time, Friday gone!
We were over for the weekend from Stafford/Walsall and staying at YHA Coalport. We Googled local chippys and Andy's came up, along with a couple of others.
We asked the host at the YHA, which one she would recommend and she pointed us in Andy's direction. We weren't disappointed!
Queue out the door (always a good sign). Plenty of staff on, all very polite and friendly. Loads to choose from (even for our veggie pal). Great value for money, big portions, fresh and delicious ????
Will defo be back next time!
Food absolutely not fresh, warmed up from lunchtime or day before and the most miserable, aggressive looking team of staff I've experienced. Will not be returning spending my hard earned money to line the pockets of these miserable individuals no please and definitely no thank you

I personally did not care for the batter and the food is not fresh. It's cooked ahead sitting under lights.
Been using this chip shop for over 45 years , it was Browns before Andy took it over. My family has supported Andys since then,regularly each week without fail even though covid-19 when allowed to open. But in the last 12 months I have seen a decline in the food rearly hot no customer service from some of the younger staff. the last straw came last week when fish and chips were lukewarm and rolled together in a mush curry sauce very weak like orange water.
Sorry Andy and your sons but after a trip to cottans in shifnal last night the food was still red hot by the time I got back to Aqueduct.
Great little chippy, food is always fresh and tasty and the staff always friendly and chatty. Defo worth a visit.
