Wow what a Wonderful little gem hidden on the estate. Friendly staff gorgeous food at smashing value. After dropping oldest daughter to school realised had no money asked if they took card payment. After being told no one of staff ran catch us up half way down street tell us we can still get things just ask write everything down and pay for it later in day when we get money. We settled it later in afternoon. Pasties sausage rolls lush victoriana sandwich slice was blooming gorgeous. Highly recommended.
I really don't understand the negative feedback. Bowburn bakers is the nicest bakers, I've been going for 18 years, every lunchtime there is a big queue, out the door quite often too. The food is lovely, always fresh, they make beautiful stotties and mini ones, called tufties. As for the staff, it's a family ran business and they are a friendly bunch, always chirpy and very polite.
A great place to eat the guy even offered me and the wife some copied dvd that he had a box full under the counter, he had all the latest releases for £5 each or 3 for £10, even had Paddington and fast n furious 7. The man even said he can get hold of Debbie Does Doncaster which was a new release and a great adult comedy. Fantastic baps!
What can a say about this place fantastic friendly as hell sence of humour is great food staff their pies pasties cakes are to die for im their delivery driver i broke down one day for four hours the lasses the owner looked after me i always get well fed when i deliver to andersons bakery long old bakery you can stuff greggs where the sun don.t shine lol
Excellent food as always for here prices are reasonable everything is made fresh everyday staff are the friendly kindest ever
Lovely sandwiches and pies, visit at least once a week for my lunch, it's cheap as chips as well!
