Beautiful and quiet, loved this place. If you can get away for even just a weekend I would recommend staying here for a relaxing natural vacation.

It is very quiet, peaceful, and still a beautiful destination. Easy to navigate (it's an island), and even though it's relatively small, there's always something new to learn or discover. Perfect for day trips, weekend stays, air bnb, or whatever you may want to do. You'll feel at home with the lack of city noise and lights. Every park has a restroom that's functioning well and stocked. You'll get a glimpse of what the area used to look like. Highly recommended.

The lakes have alligators, the parks have wild dogs, and at night, the living dead wander about and strange sounds come from the woods. You definitely do not want to go there ????????
