I have had work done by Jim numerous times over the past few years. His skills are amazing. He is a true artist who loves what he does. I would highly recommend Jim to anyone seeking out quality work. He is one of those that are gifted with the talents and know how to take your verbal ideas and turn them into genuine pieces of "awesomeness"..The shop is always clean and inviting, the Playlist is always great, and Jim is great to have a conversation with too..I personally won't have work done anywhere else..
Jim did an excellent job on my son's tattoo! He was nice and informative on what he was doing. And told us how to take care of it. We did check around at other places. But Jim spent more time with us, talking about the tattoo my son wanted. I would highly recommend Anchors Up Tattoo to everyone!????
Jim is an extremely talented tattoo artist. I will get all of my art done by him from now on. I know he's many weeks out on weekend appointments so be sure to book him soon. Amazing work great atmosphere.
Very clean environment, affordable and ultra professional. Jim is extremely knowledgeable in all styles of tattoos while lending his experience to make his art unique. So far, Jim has done all of my tattoos, started out amazing...still amazing! I won't be going anywhere else, because from what I've heard and seen from friends who get work done at other places, his work is by far the best around. Thanks again Jim!
I would strongly recommend going to a real tattoo artist!! Jim's line work is terrible couldn't even make one straight line on my wifes tattoo! All of his line work was wobbly. Definitely does not have a steady hand. Not to mention he is the kind of artist that pounds the needle way to deep. He was so aggressive with his shading and the poor quality ink he used that it's caused my wife to have allergic reaction and hypertrophic scaring that is now a permanent scar that will never go away. During the tattoo he said that she was swelling up really bad but yet continued to tattoo. He did a absolutely terrible job. I have now paid double what we paid for the tattoo on doctors bills and treatments. Trust me when I say go somewhere else. Pay more for someone who actually does good work.
My daughter and I came to get mother daughter tattoos and this was her first one. From the very beginning until the end it was a really good experience. The energy was perfect and the shop was really clean. That part is really important to me since my first tattoo got really infected (at a different place). Since then I have been really picky about where I go to get inked and I wanted to make sure my daughter had that same experience. We felt comfortable and Jim really made her first tattoo experience memorable. I highly recommend because Jim went above and beyond he did more than just do the tattoos he gave us honest opinions about the size and where the location of the tattoos would look best. I will definitely be going back to Jim when I’m ready for my next.
Jim absolutely did a killer job on my first tattoo!! The whole experience was awesome. Spent over 3 hrs on my chest and I couldn't be happier with the final result. He took his time made me relaxed and comfortable and will be bck and highly recommend him to anyone and everyone!! Thanx man!!
