After making my appointment online a few weeks ago, I was greeted with a huge smile and with the most respect from a packed medical practice. The office was full and all staff members were quite busy, however, my physician, Dr.Guzman came in and answered all of my questions and even ordered few other tests and diagnostic that I was able to do and complete on the same day inhouse.. It's worth the wait, instead of being shuffled to other NYC sites to do more labs n testing. Quick and effective drs practice..
Hello this medical practice had the audacity to fire my cousin and it was Wrongful termination it was an unlawful dismissal of an employee that exceeded the expectations of the clinic without being trained properly. They don’t have cameras on site and there wasn’t a witness during the time the manager was speaking to my cousin. They don’t train their assistant and under pay them. This should be reported to the EEOC. If individuals knew their labor laws they would tread lightly the termination was unfair and biased.
By far the worst place I’ve ever had “medical care” at. I outsource everything I can when I can and that’s probably the only thing these guys are good for. I’ve had multiple appointments canceled the day before and had the doctors straight up forget to call me with important medical information. I always have to call and do follow ups. Everyone there is rude, including the doctors. They don’t do email for some crazy reason only fax and they don’t mail anything out either. I’ve never gone there and spent less than at least 2 hours sitting and waiting. The waiting room is always completely packed to top it off.
I have literally never written a review for a medical practice before until now. This place was bad. I was there for 2 hours, had vitals and an EKG taken, and spent 5 minutes with the doc. The rest of my time was spent sitting & waiting. They never even said anything about my results! His scribe knew more about me then he did. Then, when I went to check out they asked if I wanted to scheduled my F/U in a month. A month? I was there just to establish new patient care, why would I need to be seen in a month? No reason but that I have insurance. If I could give them 0 I would. Staff was nice and respectful. It's not the MA, nurses, or Frontline staff's fault that their clinic is run this way but still. I'm never going back.
A very committed to help patients and professional staff at Amsterdam Medical Practice, everyone here is kind and nice including Dra.Sarah Guzmán I believe she is a great experienced Doctor always looking for what's best to maintain a
healthy way of Life for patients.
She’s a good dr.
Dr Guzman took her time to explain to me the results of my test. She also advised me of what necessary steps to do in order to maintained a healthy way of life.
