My wife took my son and I here today just after 12:00pm as she used to frequent it when she was in college and it was her favorite. The food was very good, the price is reasonable and the service was very friendly! I had the lamb chops which had good flavor. At the end of the meal we came to find out that they were actually closed and not supposed to be open until the evening but they didn’t want to send us away so they accommodated us. Very thoughtful!
Sunday Buffet, excellent, 5 of us greatly enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. A wide choice of meat and vegetarian curries offered all beautifully prepared and presented. Excellent value for money, can’t wait to visit again. Thank you.
Went for Sunday buffet, food was okay. When I came to pay I was asked if I wanted to add a tip, no one waited on us and if I want to I’ll make the decision, don’t ask.
£8 for a medium size glass of wine.
NO won’t be going back
Went for a Sunday buffet. Really good value for money, lovely friendly staff, restaurant was clean and nicely laid out, the selection of food was brilliant and tasted even better. Staff on hand to offer nann bread, drinks and anything else we needed. Will definitely go again.
Lovely place, really good food
Ordered biryani. Looked and tasted like a pulao. Oh yes no salt and no raita. Avoid.
Our party of 2 had appetisers and mains, and whilst the appetisers were fine, the mains were dreadful. The descriptions on the menu did not seem to match the reality of what we were served. The duck dish served did not mention that fact that it was smoked anywhere in the description, and yet tasted like an Ash tray. The lamb dish came out tasting sweet, with coconut as the feature flavour, despite the description mentioning tomato and peppers.
Perhaps we were served the wrong food, or perhaps their menu needs a drastic rewrite. Whatever the case, avoid this place until something changes.
Have been a Customer for over 20 years but as of late the last few deliveries I have had have been well below the usual standard. Tonight unfortunately will be the last time I use amir, chicken was well undercooked and the whole meal ended up in the bin! Phoned up to complain and they gave me an £8 refund out of a £35 meal.
5 months later Have also just seen they have deleted the photo of the hideous meal I had, checked this after seeing another long term customer had an inedible meal, hopefully he didn’t receive the disgusting phone service as well.
