Ordered The Works, Deliverly through Door Dash. this pie clearly packed in store hanging out of box, box lines in crust. driver had bare hands on pie.Called for resolution and was told not our problem call door dash. maybe only one slice was ruined but door dash didnt pack that pizza, shame on you AMICI, never again.
So, we regularly order pizza from this place and tonight we got a special treat in our pizza. We called them to let them know and they took zero responsibility. They blamed GrubHub. They said it was probably oregano. They made every excuse possible and at no time took any responsibility. Even the manager dismissed the severity of the situation. This piece of wood literate gags one of my guests!
Absolutely terrifying and terrible customer service. Take some responsibility! We will NEVER order from here again and will be reporting this to the heath department. Be wary of a company that takes no responsibility!!
I did not want to leave this review, but after this last order, I feel I need to say something. We loved this place when we first moved here. The food was so good. Two of our last four orders we had to cook at home because the dough was still raw. One of our last four orders was completely soaked by the Philly steak (owner took no responsibility, promised my wife a refund, and... no refund). My order tonight was pretty bad (0 for 4). My poppers and Stromboli were both cold. There was raw dough in my Stromboli. I called my order in at 6:25 pm, I was told 25 minutes, and I showed up just before 6:50 pm, and if your doing the math, that's 25 minutes. It's not that cold outside. They aren't going downhill, they are falling off a cliff. Hope this helps.
Great food. Friendly staff. I usually order every Thursday night. Pizza, wings, garlic knots and calzone. Best "NY style" pizza around. The large calzone is HUGE, served with 2 large sides of sauce. Garlic knots are so good. My favorite are the mild wings. Not spicy but overall great flavor. Amici's Pizza is a favorite in my house.
Ordered a large 1/2 Chz 1/2 ham pizza on 3/11, they put ham all over the pizza. I called and they said they could give me a store credit or they could send another pizza and I said I’ll take the store credit cause it was late. Called today to use the store credit and they (female) argued with me through the boy on the phone and said they would only credit a cheese pizza. Sorry but you offered me two choices and I chose to get the store credit and then they wouldn’t honor it. I even took a picture of the pizza with ham all over it. If you order a cheese burger and a restaurant gets it wrong and you call and they offer a store credit it’s NOT going to be a burger plain it’s gonna be what you if originally ordered. I order from them sometimes 3 times a week. It’s a shame cause other than this experience I would’ve given them a 10 star rating. Probably my last time. Update… so after waiting an hour and a half still no cheese pizza, so we called again and the lady who got rude the first time picked up the phone and claimed there was never an order made tonight. I then informed them that I had video and audio surveillance on my property and could most certainly prove this to the owner. Then a guy got on the phone and I asked him if my order was wrong last time and I was told I had a store credit it was for the same original order that was wrong and he agreed. He asked if we still wanted a pizza and by that time it was too late. I told him I was going to contact Angie the owner and that was the end. So sad cause I truly loved this pizza joint but after being treated so poorly by them I’m pretty much done! Also I will let Angie know that my delivery driver guy that 9 out of 10 delivered to us deserves a raise! sad!
Ordered a pizza for a few employees today as insentive for good work. We order this agternoon and were told it would take 30 to 45 minutes which is reasonable, But after waiting over the 45 minutes we called to check the status of our meal, as we had employees who work part time and were leaving work for the day shortly, only to be told that the driver had two other orders and that he was dropping those first and coming back to pick up our food and bring it to us. The lack of concern for a timely delivery for food we paid for from the employees was pretty frustrating. As if this is normal or acceptable.I try not to be a nagger or complain but seriously over an hour and it has not yet left to be delivered. Half the people who were suppose to be getting a free lunch will be leaving hungry. If we had been told it was going to take over an hour we would have ordered else where to ensure everyone was able to enjoy their free meal. Poor customer service. Our company orders from here all the time for our big lunch ins. We likely will not be ordering from here any longer for our company to avoid this issue happening again. Very disappointing.
Yummy, get their Sicilian pie, it's better then the regular pie, not that the regular isn't great, just my Opinion. I'm a New Yorker, Brooklyn and Manhattan pizza Lover. Take it from Big Ray.
WE LOVE AMICIS! Reminds me of my long lost Jersey Shore pizza. The team is always so friendly, even when they sound busy they get my order out to me quick. We have enjoyed the philly steak pizza but now are all about the fried eggplant. If you haven't had fried eggplant pizza YOU MUST TRY IT. Their all day 2 slice special is fire $6 and a drink, good pasta specials too. They never disappoint.
