Blew a tire on I-75 south of Perry, at 8PM. Called half a dozen places, including this one, trying to find a tire. They missed our call the first time, but the owner, Curtis, called back to see if we still needed help, and boy, did we. No one else would help us this late, or had the tire in stock, but Curtis not only had it in stock, but *called back* after missing our call. When we came in, over an hour later, he remembered our specific measurements without us saying anything more than our situation. His team got our tire replaced very quickly, and we were back on the road within just a few minutes of arriving, at 10PM.

This man really cares about what he does. We weren't special. I saw him treat several other customers the same way while we were getting ours replaced. If you're stuck on the road, give them a call. Call a few times if necessary; they're pretty busy, and for good reason.

Terrible, went to get a tire for my car trailer 16 Mar 24, I was told it would be $89.00 for a “like new” tire and that it would take them about 20 mins to swap. When I went back to pick up my wheel/tire, the tire was 10 years old, dry rotted and over half worn, their card machine was also broken and they would only accept cash. I asked for them to remove the tire they installed on my wheel and I was told I had to pay the bill or I would not get my wheel back.

My company rented owner, Curtis Smith, a billboard for a discounted rate for his American Tire and Battery Store in August 2022. Since then, he has refused to pay any rental invoices and avoided all phone calls and text messages. He said his family experienced a big loss in December, so we allowed him a couple months to get his affairs in order. We've got a record of ALL texts and emails that we've sent with read receipts and empty promises of him telling us that he will be sending in payment that I'd be happy to publicly share. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AS THEY ARE OBVIOUSLY UNTRUSTWORTHY!

Used these people about a month ago the price of the tire was $169 and it cost $220 for service totaling at about $400 for a single tire. It was the middle of the night and they had my size. They did a shoddy job tire looks horrible and they put some type of black plaster on the side and after riding on the interstate it got all over the side of my car and exposed some paper towel stuffed in between the tire and wheel. After they put my tire on the guy almost took off with my wheel lock. I only used these people because they were the closest that had my tire. This is not a $400 job.

American tire and battery charged me 1285.01 for two tires and install. Both tires were fairly worn, one had a nail in it and the other had just been plugged.

The fact that they were used tires was not disclosed. When I called the company, the next morning about it (7-16). I was told that I didn’t pay that much for the tires, I was paying for the service. But they would be happy to send me a new tire within 7-10 business days to the address I provide, so on July 19th I called them back with the address to mail the tire to I was also told that they would only be mailing me one tire, because even though the other tire had a nail it in it was only a surface nail otherwise, we would be losing air. they were to be mailing it out on the 24th and that I was to call back next Wednesday (7-26) for a tracking number. I have called almost every day since then and still can’t get anyone to provide me with a tracking number.

7-31- spoke with Allen, he gave me his personal cell number so that he could communicate with me, and that he was trying to get me the information I was needing.

8-1- called asked for the tracking number, the person that answered the phone did not identify himself but said I don't know and hung up. Tried to call again, and it went to voice mail. I left a detailed message of what i needed with my name and phone number.

They are refusing to give us an itemized receipt that we need for our insurance claim. They hang up us when we call. These people should not be in business.

If i could do 0 stars i would. Quoted me $120 for 245 75 r16 for a used tire which was unbelievable because a new tire is $125 at Walmart. Not wanting anything for free but that is ridiculous, but we needed a tire bad so we decided to go there and when we arrived nobody was around with tools everywhere. The attendant was next door at the store and when he came back he has pj’s and bedroom shoes on and said we needed a special tool to change the tire which was a lie. We left and the next morning went to 24 Hour Tire Shop LLC at 3245 Mercer university, Macon, Georgia 31204 and got a used tire $69.55.

I was on 75S right off exit 146 when my tire blew out around 4:50pm. Roadside assistance hasn’t shown up and customer service was giving me the run around so I reached out to a 24H service. The initial guy closest to me didn’t have a ride to get to me so he called this place around 7pm. They initially quoted me ~$430 to removed and place a new tire on my car. After saying they’d come to me in 10 minutes they showed up 30 minutes later. The tire change didn’t take long but when they came back the price jumped to $589 plus $20 card fee. I left the side of the highway around 8:50pm. The guys were nice and helpful but I know a scam when I see one. Car insurance is going to reimburse for there roadside assistance failures but people need to be aware of how expensive this place is. I got a full set of NEW perelli tires from Sam’s club for less than the price of that one tire. I’m grateful I could afford it and for their help but just be mindful.

Showing wire and barely any tread after three months supposedly a “new” tire. Also make sure they put the right size tires on your vehicle if you make the mistake of going to this establishment because they put the wrong size on mine then told me it was no big deal. Please beware this is a shoddy place of business. Also, please look at the pictures.
