They are friendly to new folks plus there are a lot of members who are there on a regular basis so that says a lot. The lunch is very reasonable. This AL is bunch of vets who actually go out of their way to help other vets.
Today was quite an experience. Craft show got a nice gift for my sister. Went to the bar ordered a drink and had a pulled pork sandwich. Then came the family of ducks so adorable. ????
Super crowded, but was expected since very good band scheduled to perform. Large dance floor. Parking sufficient, but come early on band night or may have trouble finding a spot. Servers are volunteers, so need to practice patience. Will eventually get to you. Facility is well maintained, with very nice Tiki bar and swimming pool for members use. Friday fish fry was ok. Fish coating needed some seasoning. Fries were excellent, golden and hot.
Great place for Military service members and veterans!! Great Tiki Bar, great prices, and great service! They do serve food, but we were only drinking. Must be a member of the service and have a membership card to get drinks.
Not bad but far from a good AL. Bartender at 2130 was so high on pills she could barely function. She said they didn't accept credit cards but I could see the POS computers could. She slurred words. But the worst part is this AL still allows smoking inside. I am a Dunedin member and ex Andy Anderson in Gulfport and they are much better. Madeira Beach is superior as well
Nice place to drink, talk and enjoy the weather. Music is hit or miss but that's fine for me
A friendly place.. clean and organized. Wait staff are fantastic.. bartenders are always smiling..
Great place to go to, Great food and staff. Just keep in mind it is quite smoking inside, would recommend outside only unless you don't mind smoke.
