The girl who works here is very unpleasant, even my broker talked to her and said that inadequate people leave from there. They pulled out a heavy load, put it on the street and refused to put it in my van. This is American Airlines Memphis. In New York, JFK, the same company is doing great. They have a ramp and the problem is to load a moivan, there is no desire that they do not have.
We booked a round trip on American. We had no issue getting to our destination, but on our way back there was some lightning and that caused our flight to be cancelled. The next flight was not until the next day and we had no where to go. American offers no help when you are stranded. I understand that bad weather will happen and it’s not the airline’s fault but it is not my fault either. They basically dropped me off and stranded me in a unfamiliar city with no help help whatsoever. On top of that I purchased upgrades for the cancelled flights and I have to contact their customer service. The customer service wait time is over 4 hours. They do have an option to be called back when it is your turn in the call queue. When they call you back you still have to wait 15 minutes. They also have an option to schedule a call, but you have to select the time and the times I picked were not available. You only get 2 tries before you have to start over from the beginning.
When there are no issues American is as good as any airline. It won’t be comfortable but you will get where are going. Some of the people working for the airline will nice and some won’t. If something goes wrong there will be very little help. I read that American is ranked one of the top 10 airlines in the US. The way I see that is it is like comparing garbage. Maybe their garbage smells better than someone else’s garbage but it’s still garbage.

Hello how are you doing to whoever this concerns I really appreciate it if you guys can get back in touch with us my wife had a flight today in the morning and stood in line for literally over 30/40 minutes. that’s not issue though after standing in the long line had to deal with Mr Douglas.and he started automatically with a bad attitude can judge nobody with their own problems but he started reading the guidelines about COVID-19. Made my wife get a COVID-19 test. after she presented her vaccination card told her she still had to get a test just started pointing. you need to get your test right over there. Made us spend $540 for my wife and my kids.after we still back in line had to wait there. very nice generous lady helped us out after telling her I’m getting the test they’re coming she said no problem. My wife showed her her vaccination card she said your wife don’t need to get a test. So he made us spend $180 extra just because he has a bad day and want to take it out on other people I’ve been dealing with airlines for years if you guys care about me being a customer please call me so we can talk about Mr Douglas. Thank you.
They lost my luggage on June 12th in Memphis. Switched to a different layover and in the process they managed to put my new tag on someone else's. They never found my luggage and it is because the lady who was in charge of moving luggage from my original flight failed to do her job. Would like to think employees are held accountable for such mistakes. Please make sure you employ capable people to do such jobs.
The WORST airline and then to make it even worse they are called AMERICAN airlines. Nothing about them represents what this brand should be. We stayed in the Memphis airport 8 hours as they delayed our flight over 6 times and after asking twice if our bags would make the flight they told me Yes…. Make it Dallas and my bags are still in Memphis after sitting at the gate 8 hours. American Airlines is a joke. Their staff are rude and incompetent and there service is absurd
I did not have a problem. Both of my flights were on time. Boarding process was easy. Gate had a good amount of seats.
Flight attendants did not ask passengers if they wanted something to drink. There were no snacks on the flight.
I hope one of the best managers is reading this or supervisors because Douglas I was told that was his name. Is not professional at all has a real bad attitude you come to work put in your stress on other people because you’re mad for some reason I hope this guy doesn’t work there long or if he does he does not deserve to be customer service which is his profession is not professional
I really thought airlines was more professional than other airlines but Douglas proved to me that airlines has the worst employees if they want to keep a five star this guy Douglas is not the right person for customer service has the worst attitude ever I hope anybody there has to stand in line and deal with him I feel sorry for them.
