I go to Americas best at least 3x a week. I got a 5pc wing combo with fries and drink. The fries were good, the chicken was old. I know fresh chicken and the chicken was the complete opposite also on top of that the wings come with a free dressing. I wasn’t offered a dressing I had to ask once I sat down and begin eating. The lady not offering the dressing when it comes with the meal is off putting and to top of off the chicken was old. I will not be back at this location.
I ordered a grilled fish sub combo. Most of my sub had mostly toppings with a piece of fish about 3 inches long. I bit into the second half to only have one small (ending piece) on it! The charge a dollar extra for fish sub combos but it doesn’t have much fish at all. My advice check your food before you leave.
Wings look good but taste like trash. Don't know if the chicken is spoiled but I couldn't eat then. Dude working the counter is rude and can't count. Total came to $19.53, I gave him a $20 and he didn't know what change to give me. Ranch wings were doused in ranch powder with no taste.. Lastly, as I waited 4 calls came in that rang over 5 times that he waited to answer because he was playing a game on his phone. Save yourself the trouble
This place is phenomenal. If you are looking for good, fresh wings from a clean place and respectful staff, this is the place for you. They have always gotten our order right, pack it up right in front of you, and I have never had a quality issue. I was nervous ordering shrimp from them last time we went and I was so glad I did! Fresh and delicious.
These bad reviews seem suspicious to me, honestly. The place is spotless so I can’t imagine any cleanliness issues. Also the staff there are wonderful, assuming you treat them with respect. (Which I wonder if the other reviewers with subpar experiences did…)
Anyway, get the fried shrimp & hush puppies.
I won't be coming back to this place. The fish was not good. Judging from some other reviews, other people don't seem to like the food here either!
I do realize this is a wing place but I've eaten plenty of places that serve fried fish and it tasted much better than it did at this place!
The French fries were okay.
At least the food was hot.
I ordered six pieces of fish, and the lady behind the counter didn't put any tartar sauce in the bag. I asked her for tartar sauce and she gave me one! I've then told her "I have six pieces of fish I need a few more tartar sauce". She only gave me one more!
Stingy, rude, no eye contact, and the food didn't taste good.

This was the worst food I have ever had in my life! The wings were horrible but that wasn’t even the worst part. Aside from the ranch dressing tasting like onion dip; the celery was brown and slime covered them entirely. Luckily I was able to discover them before my five year old ate one. I will never ever ever ever ever in my life think about ordering from America’s Best Wings in Columbia. The experience was so bad that I will probably never visit any of their locations.
The lemon pepper wings were not coated in any batter. They were fried without any seasoning. The chicken came out raw. I returned the food and asked for a new batch. The new batch came out the same way raw. I asked for a refund for which the owner was hesitant to give me but she did. And stated I cannot come back to her store. I've only been to the store now three times. So I'm okay with not patronizing this store ever again. Her attitude was horrible and I should not have to eat raw chicken.
I ordered a 5 piece honey old bay wing combo, and I went home to eat it. As I was eating, I noticed a BUG in my food. Never coming here again.
