A hidden gem in Phoenix. It's a relief to know that a city the size of Phoenix has quality mechanics that treat their customers well. Location is small (& easy to drive past), so I strongly recommend setting an appointment online. Their website was super easy to use, and I received all my confirmation emails quickly.

All their pricing was clearly communicated & what procedures they were going/needing to do to get you back out on the road. If you opt to stay & and wait, their open-air waiting room is right there where they're working on your vehicle, so you're welcome to watch them work if you have any doubts! Luckily, I had a small & easy to fix issue, so I was in & out in approx 45 minutes, if that long.

Manny, Gilbert and the team at AMC Automotive are top notch! They treat you respectfully, fairly and are great at the work they do.

I have been bringing our cars here for 3 years now and will continue to because of their standard of quality service they have shown through each oil change, tire rotation and whatever my check engine light throws at them.

On top of all of that, their prices are very fair and will keep me coming back for years to come.

I brought my Saab 9-3 in for a new water pump. The repair was done promptly, correctly and for a very reasonable price. The communication was excellent and I am very happy with my experience. I highly recommend Gilbert and his team.

As someone who has come to expect sketchy service and high prices from mechanics, I was heartened to read all the positive reviews and experiences for AMC Automotive. Now that I've been a customer, I can honestly say they exceeded expectations by reinforcing my skepticism.

Came in for a few services (front brake/rotor replacement, oil change & ATF flush) but the most important was to diagnose my AC that had recently diminished in cooling ability.

I was quoted nearly $700 for everything but the AC, which seemed relatively reasonable. For the AC, which was diagnosed as a damaged AC hose, I was quoted an additional $1,200. I asked them to complete the $700 repairs while I mulled the AC. They weren't pushy and took the time to address all my questions. Later, they even suggested sending the hose to be repaired instead of replaced, which might have shaved $300 off the $1,200. I couldn't get a clear answer on what the AC hose repair and replacement would cost other then $600 in labor at the minimum. Worst was that after retrieving my car from AMC, the AC didn't work at all. Before taking it to them the AC was somewhat cool. After, nothing.

Skeptic senses kicking in, I sought out a second opinion. Turns out, nothing was wrong with the AC hose. Instead, there were two seals that needed replacing. $175 and 45 minutes later, there was practically ice coming out of my AC vents, it was so cold.

Moral of the story: don't always believe the reviews and always shop around for additional advice.

These guys are awesome. Small spot and deceiving but they are awesome, very affordable, communicate well, etc. I also like that they use all the latest tech to text you your quotes and receipts, which all include pictures and explanations. Couldn’t recommend more.

Gilbert and his crew are very professional. would totally recommend for any one looking for a good automotive team without the dealership hike ups. They take care of all my families vehicles now. I've be going there for the last 6 years atleast.

Great shop, customer service is always top notch!! They are very knowledgeable and honest along with showing and explaining what’s going on.

I have been going to them since 2017, and have brought them 4 different vehicles for a variety of issues. Clanking noise when turning, oil changes, ac compressor replacement, brakes and rotors, replace the power steering, change alternator, they do it all. They do it fast and for $$$ less than the larger shops in the valley. On top of that, they warranty everything that they do!
