This is a must eat place when in Dothan. There isn't enough wonderful things that I could say. The food was outstanding, the staff friendly and helpful. We absolutely enjoyed every bite.
My first experience was more than I could have imagined. The owner was so kind and patient with me. She did an excellent job with her recommendations. One customer recommended the spring rolls, they were awesome! I also had the lemon pepper wings and red beans and rice! It was all fantastic! The owner’s daughter was so sweet too! I’ll definitely go back!
Talking about a hole in the wall the owners were very nice and the gumbo was very good. My mother and I really enjoyed this place and will be returning. I just wish I had not been so hungry I would have taken pic of my food but nothing was left.
Truly 'Amazin', excellent Cajun food, spicy and mild, both. Hubby had etouffee, thick, chunky, not like the soupy stuff one usually gets - it did have a good kick. I had a fried shrimp poboy, lots of shrimp with great flavor, topped with coleslaw (homemade) - not spicy, which was perfect for me. Had the home made egg rolls too, amazing filling, good crunch. We'll be back!
The food is AMAZIN', and has just the right amount of spice and heat. I love that you can REALLY taste everything, without the food being too hot and spicy! The service was great, and the establishment was very cute and clean! I'll be returning to eat more Menu items for sure!!
We met some friends for a quick bite on our way to the Gulf. The service was good and friendly. The food was ok. I like spicy food, and the gumbo needed tweaked a bit but had good flavor. The Mardi Gras shrimp boil, salad, and catfish looked good. Everyone left full and enjoyed our time there.
We ate here for a he first time Monday afternoon and let me tell you it was so delicious we had the madi gras boil and the fish boat. Egg rolls and took home the gumbo for next day. The owners were so nice and the place was so clean we will be going back soon. If I had any requests it is I hope soon they will offer the vegetable egg rolls as I love them. And they make theirs homemade. Just vegetable ones would be wonderful.
Again we will be back soon. Wonderful food and service with a smile. ????
