I had a birthday voucher to use and had to keep weighing up weather and diary.
We went today and the weather couldn't have been any better! Glorious sunshine and quite warm.
We had a quick lunch to start. Food was really nice. My sandwich had loads of filling and the little salad it came with was really nice too.
The girl who took us on our walk was very knowledgeable. I asked all sorts of random questions and she answered them all and gave us some facts about them as well. The Alpacas were quite stubborn at some points and wanted a lay down/head into the raspberry patches for a scratch ????. They are real characters.
We then went up to the donkey paddock. It was too muddy for them to be out but we were allowed in to make a fuss. All donkeys are rescue which I liked as I am a sucker for donkey and even more for anything rescue.
Once the walk was over we went and looked at the female Alpacas, chickens, ducks, goats and the young Alpacas.
You can also walk the grounds so we plan on taking the dogs when it's a bit drier.
Take wellies/good walking boots if you go after a spell of wet weather. You will need them!
Had a really lovely time here seeing the alpacas, stopped for lunch outside (6 of us) and the food was great.
We really love the addition of new pygmy goats, and the service and food was all amazing. (especially as sitting outside meant they had to bring loads of extra stuff out.) We were really impressed with the service, politeness and value for money. Will definitely come again especially in summer when we will also walk by the river!
Lovely place for an outing. Nice café, beautiful setting, goats, donkeys, and alpacas of course. Home-made cakes - delicious Victoria sponge and even 'plate of biscuits for dunking' on the menu!
Our local Alpaca farm. It's in a beautiful setting with great views over the countryside and river Severn walk. It was delightful and I wished we had gone sooner. Entry is obscure on an almost blind bend with no notices indicating that you are approaching it, that is apart from a small A board on the grass verge by entrance, it's so easy to miss. Once inside the parking is good. The Cafe/restaurant is courtyard based and sheltered. People said how good the food was plus staff are so friendly. We bought a couple of small bags of food to feed the animals for 50p each and it was such a lovely experience that we shall be back again soon. It was a lovely few hours out on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Recommended.
We loved the Alpaca Meadows. It is beautiful setting with a lovely little farm, and our dinners and the service were great. We would highly recomemd and will definitely be back!
Great location to spend some time in nature and relax. Had a lovely time feeding the alpacas, and enjoyed a lovely brunch afterwards. Princes are extremely good, affordable, and they have free rande eggs really cheap compared with markets! Would recommend 10/10
Lovely setting even with the river flooding the near by fields, the geese liked it????. Food was nicely presented and served with a smile????
What a lovely place for a Sunday ride too, cake was delicious, coffee was hot and the animals were really friendly.
