The Chop Suey House is absolutely amazing the best Chinese in Alnwick.
The guy at front desk is friendly and welcoming and gets your order straight away. We Highly recommend giving these a visit! There's an array of delicious choices from the menu.
Awful. £30 spent on set meal for 2. Most of it went in the bin. Spare ribs dry and old no sauce. Chicken balls tough, chicken and mushroom undercooked and greasy sauce. Rice also greasy. If not for the fact that we live in Wooler and it was 9pm I would have returned it. Never again.
Ordered last night and my god absolutely beautiful! looked forward to it all day and it didn't disappointing, well seasoned, piping hot food and a decent portion for the price. Great Job.
Absolutely inedible!!!
Duck chop suey was a few small pieces of duck, a few bean sprouts and a thick gooey tasteless sauce. Noodles looked like warmed up spaghetti with….the same sauce.

Pretty good Chinese takeout in Alnwick at very affordable prices - we enjoyed the tender prawn and pork dishes that came with fried rice. Food is on the saucy side, which may not be to everyone’s preferences. Overall, a great take out to catch a quick meal!
Tried for 15 mins at 5pm to get through to order a takeaway .Every time I try to phone to put an order in I have the same problem.
Gave up in the end .

An absolute little gem of a take away
The food is really good- it gets very busy but worth the wait
They don't deliver so have to collect
We decided on a takeaway from Chop Suey as a last minute decision.
The service was good and fast, too!
What we had ordered was a pretty basic meal;
Chicken & Beef Chow Mein, Satay Chicken, a portion of boiled rice, additional noodles and prawn crackers.
The menu has plenty to go at and is full of quality dishes.
We enjoyed what we had and thought it was value for money, too!
We'd definitely recommend.
