Ordered a breakfast burrito with bacon in it and ended up picking all the bacon off! It didn’t even look cooked, it looked like it was put on the grill for a couple seconds and huge strips were put in my burrito. Definitely not trying to get sick from eating uncooked bacon!
I got the carne asada plate. With the caveat that I was starving, it was the greatest food I've ever tasted. Homemade tortillas and salsa really capped it off. Food came out quick (<5 min)
Quick casual Mexican food in a small space next to totally 80’s pizza. Drove from Longmont to FOCO just to try the breakfast burritos, and they didn’t disappoint!! I got the bacon, egg, cheese and potato. The best breakfast burrito I’ve had and I’ll give most of the credit to the red sauce (hot) and tortilla. The burrito itself was bigger than most. The potatoes were seasoned and cooked well, there were actual large pieces of bacon, and the tortilla is soft, stretchy, floury, perfection. I am a saucy girl so I dumped two of the red sauces into mine as I was eating it. Tried the green salsa, and it was tasty, too. Just a mild tomatillo style. Would definitely drive up in my PJ’s again to pick up some more. Don’t sleep on this!!
Burrito contents were piping hot, was definitely microwaved. 90% of the burrito was tortilla, and the filling was so greasy there was an oil puddle on the plate. Basically an oil drenched microwaved tortilla. Left hungry and got Taco Bell lol
I got the carne asada fries. They were soggy, didn’t have much flavor, didn’t come with salsa, no green onions, possibly no seasoning on the meat even? I will say it was a decent amount of meat but it was all so bland.
Wow! First time trying this place and my goodness, SO delicious! Great green chili flavor and they hook it up with the meat and all the goodies! Fair pricing and didn't leave me with a tummy ache later, so super fresh! Top of the list for good ol' Mexican food????
We drive 55 mins just to go to Almansitas from Westminster. Only place where we can get great Mexican food with great quality and the owners are some of the best people we’ve met since moving here from AZ.
Unacceptable. I hope I can leave a picture. Carne asada looked boiled. Guac was avocado puree, crunchy rice, watery beans, weird tortillas... A very poor imitation of taqueria Los comales in fort Collins. Saltless, just depressing food. Don't know how to leave a picture and for this the restaurant should be grateful.
