Thank you for getting my cake ornament ready for the appointed day; unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the finished article. I provided a picture of the design I wanted. The finished product did not match the design and used an entirely different colour palette. The figure was anatomically incorrect and looked as though it had been squashed. I had to replace elements myself once I got it home. I was hoping to place another order on the next few months but think I will look elsewhere.
Absolutely terrible!!! So so disappointed. I wouldn't leave one star if there was an option!
Cake was not only over cooked and dry but STALE. Totally overpriced. Hardly any filling. Took cake back which was bought for my parents anniversary party. We were told the cake (which was honestly inedible) was absolutely fine, although everyone who tried it said it was very dry and not very nice. Disgraceful! Will never use this bakery again and I would suggest avoid it!
Just shared a photo of my daughter's cake which was made at very short notice (dental theme). Friendly, helpful staff. Cake was a hit with her and her friends. Very pleased.
Absolutely terrible! They didn't make the cake to the agreed specifications and the cake was very dry and tasted burnt. Would not recommend them at all. They wouldn't even do anything to compensate for this cake that was clearly their own fault. A very disappointing cake for my daughters christening!
The cake we ordered (naked Victoria sponge) was dry, stale and over cooked. Nobody at the party ate it. When I took the cake back I was told that it wasn’t dry at all (everyone else including me must have been wrong!) and it was as it should be. The lady who baked the cake also said that you should expect (yes expect!) some dryness with a ‘naked cake’ (which wasn’t mentioned to me when I placed the order) and ideally it should be eaten on the day it is made. Surely if this is what you would expect as a baker, you would make the cake on the day it was needed?! Anyway, after expressing our deep disappointment I was told that I wasn’t going to get a refund because she didn’t agree that there was a problem.
Whatever happened to ‘the customer is always right’? Won’t be using this place again, and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else.
