Used to use the Boots in The Whitgift. Which was a nightmare. I'd get texts telling me to pick up a prescription, arrive and get told "nothing for you", then another text. Rant over.
Allcorn's is a totally different proposition. They rely on the locals. They are responsive. Never had a problem with them. Hence the five stars. So support a local business rather than an exercise in Private Equity.
I very rarely write reviews however I want to sing the praises of Allcorn Chemist and staff. My boyfriend and I switched to Allcorn last March and we have received the most fantastic customer service since day one. They provide old school customer service at its best and reminds us of how local communities should be. The staff, particularly Marvin, goes above and beyond. He remembers both mine and partners full name without prompt, he's fully aware of our medication requirements and always asks how we are getting on. Due to location, they have a lot of difficult customers to deal with, but do so with care and consideration. Absolutely fantastic service and staff! ????

My first visit today and I was impressed by the friendliness, knowledge and helpfulness of the staff. There are no flashy shelves or lighting, but a sense of good old-fashioned values of customer service and expertise
Have been with them for atleast five years, never had a problem. There are time when I run out of medicines and they were always there to help putting the prescritions across to the GP themselves. Excellent service !!!
