I think these guys have real core competency when it comes to packing and moving. They took really good care of our stuff, and arrived well within the promised time. Movers were professional and well-mannered. The only reason I didn't give a five star rating is because the salesman who set us up with this move kind of underbid the cubic feet, so we paid a thousand or so more for the move than his estimate. I think if they had guys who actually came to the house, the sales estimate would be much more in line with the actual moving crew foreman's actual bill of charges. To be on the safe side, just add $1,500 to the estimate you get, and you'll probably be much closer to reality. Having said that, ours was a move in which we had already packed up two uhaul boxes first, and they were boxing the rest and moving everything in total. We have moved 11 times so far, and I would put this company in the top quintile of movers. The main thing is we got our stuff, and it wasn't damaged on the other side.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Absolutely the worst experience. They moved the furniture to the WRONG address, about an hour away from where it should be. Charged $3700 and said it would cost $500 more to deliver it to the correct one. Due to the fact that it was, once again, the wrong location, the mover could not stage the apartment. Friends with trucks had to be called to move and stage the correct location. DO NOT USE! Every time you talk to them, the price doubles. We refused to pay the extra $500 after the price had already gone so high. Sell your stuff on Marketplace and rebuy your furniture for cheaper!

Allstate Moving that I hired for a move of all I couldn't fit in my car in a state move was one of the worst experiences ever! My items were delivered a bit over a month late where 9 different pieces of my property were damaged beyond repair. After I asked them to pay for this damage they refused to pay me despite claims filed with CSI Pros and Better Business Bureau who both told them they needed to pay me. Then I filed a small claims court case they illegally refused to reply through the registered agent in W. They charged me thousands of dollars over the quoted price. No one should hire them for moves. They're a lying company giving terrible experience where the hired movers recommend you open claims on them to get settled.

Disaster!!!pickup our things from storage in Boston on Nov 27th gave us a low quotation after the load up the price doubled which means 7k and promised to deliver by Dec 7th to 15th in California. After multiple follow up with different departments got my shipment on Jan 7th. People of no conscience. Other companies told that impossible to get it before Dec 15th and their price of 3500. Broken lamp, broken plater they have dragged the mattresses on the ground mess up the corners before delivery. Missing an outside chair.They don't deserve a star. I am very upset about people without care for other people and things ????

Do NOT use this company if moving out of state. They are not honest, estimate was $1900 and they charged $3300 - we had no changes to the items to move. It took 2 months to deliver our things when they told me approximately 2 weeks. 2 months to get our stuff!!! They never paid the $30/day over the 30 days late which is in the contract. No response when calling or emailing. They overcharged square footage the day of the move by $750 and made my daughter go to the ATM to get additional cash. They also charged an extra $300 saying the distance from apartment to truck was over 75 ft - I had proof it was not. They lost a box which was not on the inventory list but we have pictures of the black container in the apartment. Beware if you use this company!! I would give them a negative rating for their dishonesty.

Update on their CSI claims...said they would pay a minor amount of money back to us, but they never sent it. They are a scam company with no interest in any "Claims" you may have on Allstate's dishonesty.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They will scam you. If I could leave zero stars I would. We ended up using them after another company cancelled on us a few days before we had to move out of our rental. We gave them a detailed list of our items to be moved. AFTER all was loaded they gave us a revised quote which was several thousand dollars MORE. We were caught between a rock and a hard space as they had loaded all of our belongings. It was 50% higher than what Sara had quoted us. We tried to call Sara but she would never answer or return calls. We attempted for 7 days to get through to customer service but they never returned calls. We were told our items would be delivered at the latest with in 2 weeks. After this time frame lapsed, we were told we could pay an extra $2000 for delivery. Again we were caught. We were traveling outside the country and needed our clothing. They delivered a partial shipment with our clothes — but missed several boxes left behind. The second delivery came when we were out of the country. We did not sign the delivery papers for that one. When we returned to Texas we realized several furniture items were missing. After several weeks of trying to contact customer service, Elizabeth informed us we could file a complaint with CSI. it is now 8 months later with no resolution. CSI claims they have been trying to contact Allstate but they never return calls. Antique family heirlooms items are lost. They broke many boxes of China, vases, artifacts. They will not cover the cost of any of these. The phone number that Elizabeth has under her name no longer works. When you call them you get a recording that states due to high call volume call back. I have tied all extensions attempting to talk to a live body. Again, they steal your items and over charge you. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!’ I hope I can save someone the misery we have gone through with this move!

I had a VERY BAD experience with this company.They were the worst!!!! My items were broken, damaged, many items did not show up, I received items that was not mine. I paid more than I got the quote originally. I filed a claim and I have been calling / following up but no response and I did not receive my claim yet. Friends DO NOT GO with this BAD company to avoid the stress and frustration while you are moving. Especially there was a lady manager who I was speaking about my concerns but she was not professional and not responsive. She had very bad attitude and no kindness to the customers.

Zero stars is what’s needed when rating Allstate Moving! I was given a moving estimate that doubled in price after the truck was loaded. Many of my boxes and totes never made it, I assume it was stolen or lost. Of the items that were delivered, much of it was damaged. Allstate charged me a shuttle fee of $1052.00 for a smaller truck to deliver my items, stating that the streets were too small for a large truck. But when the delivery was made, they used the large semi truck, not a shuttle. Now, they are refusing to refund the shuttle fee! I have it in a text message that they are going to refund me, yet to date there has been nothing. In fact, they are ignoring all my emails and texts! I’m sure they’re hoping I’ll just go away, but I won’t!! If you hire this garbage company, be ready for problems! Their moving specialist Sara will tell you how wonderful they are, but it’s a lie! Their customer service representatives Kori and Elizabeth will ignore you if you have any issues. Avoid this shady company at all costs! If you do use them, have your lawyer on standby, you’ll need them.
