“All Star Kutz,” was the worst barber shop experience I’ve ever had! It cost me 100$ to get a messed up haircut! My 11 year old son, and I went to get our haircuts last night as walk ins. I was very blessed, and lucky that they were able to see us on such short notice. I greeted everybody with a happy handshake, and enjoyed the interior design of the establishment. Everybody was friendly on approach. I thought it was going to be a pleasant experience.
My experience as far as my hair cut was simple, and low effort. I wanted a simple cut which I knew was going to be quick. I asked for the sides to be shaved down to the skin. I got what I asked for but the effort in which I got felt low maintenance. I didn’t even get a razor, or a nice proper clean up. I understand the air blower but I believe there should be a different system. My son, and I both agreed it’s alarming, and rough on the approach. 5/10
My son’s experience was sadly embarrassing. He asked for a design which he showed a picture, and the design was going well until he started chopping all of his hair off. My son looked back at the mirror. His face was mortified holding back tears because he didn’t want to say anything. Then the line up to fix up not doing what my son asked for was not even. I was trying not to laugh at the experience but it was hard. Even today he is wearing a hat because he doesn’t want people to see it at school. 0/10
The ending was one that actually sent me over the edge. I could handle the bad haircut because hair can regrow, and we can always find another barber shop. I paid with cash each hair cut which cost me 30$ = 60$. I gave one barber 80$ paying for the 60$ hair cut leaving a 20$ bill to split between each barber a 10$ tip which I mentioned to him. I walked away, and I even noticed him putting a 20$ in his pocket. He then said I only gave him 60$. I stupidly believed him and gave him another 20$. As I was continuing getting ready to leave the one barber stupidly mentioned out loud, “40$ is 40$ right!?” I walked away because truthfully I don’t know if I was wrong but I believe my gut. I also saw what I saw. I am very OCD, and I understand what I did with my money.
Overall it was embarrassing, and also just rude. We were not treated well, and fair. The skills of the barber need work. The establishment needs to be more about quality then show. I have noticed this hasn’t happened just to me by the reviews. I pray God blesses you all, and I hope the company grows but it’s needs a lot of work. For every other customer I would go find business else where that cares about their craft, and the experience of the customer.

I wanted to take our son to a barber for a haircut, beside just greatclips. This place might be look fun for kids but I don't think they should be cutting kids hair because they're rough! The lady that cut my son's hair only care for money no empathy. Not coming back and don't recommend.
Bought my nephew to get a haircut by Jeremy n he did a wonderful job on them boys haircut
This is a hard review to do because we had two very different experiences in the same visit. I'm averaging a 1 and a 4/5. One son had a barber that took his time and focused on what he wanted. The other barber was told what to do and was so distracted by his phone that he completely chopped my son's hair up. He was in tears on the way home. After reading through these reviews it sounds like that might be lots of people's experience. Buyer beware. Probably will not be back.

This was a really nice shop. The barber was cordial and I was not bored while waiting. Love the basketball game.
I walked in on a Saturday afternoon around 3pm with no appointment....John greeted me at the door with a smile and agreed to cut my hair. He was very courteous and professional. Did a great cut and it was a very fair price. The atmosphere in the shop was friendly and happy. Everyone was singing along to the music playing in the background or having friendly conversation.
I would 100% recommend this shop to a friend.
This spot is a hidden gem! My son hates getting his hair cut but always enjoys this spot. The space is amazing and the barbers are friendly and super talented!
