I asked this business owner if via text she could “ Can you do a trim and lining this morning?“ she called me right back and said she could if I came before 1pm. We arrived at 10am . At 11am I noticed she was twisting my wife’s hair. I stopped her told her a third time what hairstyle she wanted and showed her a picture of the hairstyle she usually wears. The owner/ stylist tried to convince us on twisting my wife’s hair and became defensive .
Jo is a kind very spirted lady that owns the place. Gave me good advice with out costing a thing but her time. Good vibes!!! I will be back.. good vibes natural hair shop. Jo is still the nicest person I have had the pleasure to meet in a beautiful shop in a long time.
I'm so glad I found Jo. Do not sleep on this woman. She got my business as long as I live. Great conversation and I love the music she has playing in the shop. It's like having your mother or your big sister doing your hair at home.

First of all I love the energy that she brings to each and every individual that comes in the shop. Now for the last several months I’ve been going there my hair has grown Tremendously Mrs. Joe uses the best product for your hair and guarantee that your hair will be glossing. I truly will recommend her to anyone who need dreads or need them done, so cool ✊????
I had a wonderful experience getting my dreads started and my hair cut to its naturalness on June 8, 2016, Mrs. Jo is very knowledgable about natural hair and she is in fact a professional who loves her life and what she does for a living and she had a lot of suggestions about managing my now natural hair from being relaxed many many many years. I will be returning to her to maintain my dreads. Thank you Mrs. Jo. And One must check out the wonderful art work and the beautifully made jewelries if you are into it.
LISTEN UP!!!! If you want locks or already have locks and want them to grow then you need to go see Ms. Jo at the All Natural Hair Shop. When I started growing my locks they were stunted and would not grow pass my shoulders. After I found Ms. Jo and her magic hands not only did she make my locks grow like wildfire but she turned my locks into "bungalocks" and now they are 2/3 's the way down back almost to my butt!! This lady is literally magical when it comes to natural hair. Before I met her I had several different people try to get my hair to grow. They all FAILED miserably. I don't know what she did but my hair started growing and is healthy and shiny and I'm complemented everywhere I go and by people that I least expect it from. Like I said she has "magic hands". Since I have been going to her I have learned more about hair than I ever knew. I only let 2 people touch my head that being myself and Ms. Jo. In addition to that you could not find a person more "REAL" or personable than Ms. Jo. I see her twice a month and trust me I am always looking forward to going to get my hair done because I always have a good time when I go over there. It's the best money I spend all month. Take it from me if you want your hair to grow, go see Ms. Jo!!!!
MY experience on 2/11/2021 with Mrs. Joe was unprofessional and awful,I will never return or refer her to anyone.Due to Covid-19 she didn't wear a mask the whole time she was in the salon doing clients locs.Mrs.Joe talked while clients was in her chair, talk the whole whole over each client , kept stopping to talk to other clients, taking long to service clients. It was a raining cold day, and it was very unprofessional not to place clients under a dryer to let their locs dry, hazard for clients to get sick. She didn't have a hair dryer for me to sit under , she also use the same toothpaste on each client edges without taking proper measures to clean after each client. After she was done with my locs , I was not satisfied with my locs after I made it home and dried them , they was heavy from whatever products she used and my retwist was frizzy, not tight and my locs didn't look like I just had them service.. I was so disappointed I re-shampoo and retwist my own locs.. Do not waste your time or money . I normally don't judge people and give them the benefit of the doubt. But, this lady need to retire.Thank me later.
I was excited based on the reviews here, but I have to say that I'm not impressed with her professionalism.
I called to see what haircut services she offers and to schedule an appointment. I started off by saying that I have natural hair and needed a trim. Aside from her loud talking on the phone (don't think she knew her own volume) and her rude tone towards me, it took her several attempts to understand what I wanted because she kept asking "What kind of hair do you have?.... What kind of natural?... Are you natural natural? etc." In the middle of this quick 3-min. call, she started laughing at what sounded like the tv blaring in the background and then yelling at someone else in her shop. It finally took me saying "afro" for her to get what I meant. She then made some bitter remark about how other people don't know what natural means and that she was just checking.
Needless to say, if she doesn't seem to value my knowledge of what I want for my hair or my time when I'm on the phone, she won't value them if I'm in her chair. I'm sure she knows her stuff, I'm just not willing to take the chance with my hair. Won't be coming here.
