We went here in a party of seven for a birthday. The decor is beautifully moody and elegant. None of us had eaten here yet, but it's been on my list for a long time. We shared the cheese and charcuterie board (no picture, sorry!) Our server David was great! He knew the menu very well and had a unique positive comment about every dish we selected. He identified the tone of our group (we tease each other a lot), and he connected well with us. We will definitely be back again.
Party of 4, we had a great time and exceptional food. We hit the perfect night. We arrived early so we could have a good look. Our first time.
We went to the bar only to find a small jazz band with a great singer. We had refreshments at the bar a listen to wonderful music.
We were seated in the main dinning room for dinner. Our meal and the staff were perfect. We asked a lot of questions and our server, Doug, did a great job. Thank you all.
It was our anniversary dinner and it was good. Started with some drinks. Got the peanut butter Manhattan and it was very good. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection. Season to perfection. The apps were good nothing to get super excited over. The dessert was a must have dessert. The dessert was the best part of the while meal.
To preface my comments, we have dined (several times) at almost every upper end restaurant in the Pensacola and surrounding area.
Three of us visited Alice's Restaurant on a Thursday night and had the following:
The Small Charcuterie Board (excellent) only one other restaurant we've visited has a better board, followed by Black Garlic Lobster Ravioli (excellent), Main Street Grouper (excellent), Steak Au Poivre (excellent) followed by Panna Cotta with Pineapple (excellent), Maple Cream Puff Pastry with Candy Bacon (excellent), Chocolate Creme Brulee (excellent). Alice's has a nice selection of quality wine and featured drinks.
One thing that would improve the charcuterie board, the waitstaff should identify each item on the board when served. All the food at Alice's Restaurant was top notch but the ambiance was very disappointing, far less than expected or desired for a dinning experience of this caliber. I give it 4 stars because of the excellent food but it falls short in waitstaff sophistication and dining atmosphere.
Was in town for a Ron White show and picked this place to have dinner before the show. Made reservations for 4 guest. Table was ready on time. Waitress was spot on with orders and drinks. Appetizers were the Cheeseboard, scallops over risotto. Main meal was the White Seabass and Ribeye!!! Would order the same thing again if we ever come back into town! Drinks were Skinny Margarita (spicy) and Extra Dirty Martini.
The food was very good and the wait staff was attentive if not a little slow. I blame it on the current pandemic circumstances. I had the quail, scallops and shrimp appetizers. Every single one was delicious if not a smidge small on portions for a 4 top. A 2 top is perfect size for a single app. Amongst the group, the grouper, steak, and lamb lilipops were ordered. There were several glasses of wine and I was not disappointed with any of the good. It all had excellent flavors. Desert was a hit as well but I was surprised because no one wanted to order the bread pudding so I decided to do so and it did not disappoint. I know what you are thinking, bread pudding. But this was done souffle style and it was really good. The concept of bread pudding was definitely elevated with a little chive or scallion to balance the sweet with a hint of savory. Overall, great job.

Guys.......if you haven't been to Alice's in Pensacola. You need too. Hands down the best meal I've ever had. From start to finish. The service the atmosphere, the wine...the FOOD ????
@chefkeithpardue ......sitting here trying to put into words the love that hit our table last night, and I really can't. That was hands down the best meal I've ever had. I'll say this Never have I ever been to a restaurant for a meal, and ended up feeling like a queen after it was all said and done. The food was absolutely amazing. .....and that smoked sauce ...help me Lord. ???? so thankful our paths crossed. I'm going to enjoy watching how far you go????????☝️????

We came here just for some dessert and drinks and had the best time. The restaurant is beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff was wonderful- we even got to meet the owner & the owner of Joe Patti’s (proof that they have QUALITY seafood!!) ! We cannot wait to come back and get some dinner some time!
